Heroes of Silvatica City

Knight regretted suggesting that, honestly - it had just been a joke - but now Daniel was adamant to do it this way. "As you wish. Good luck," she said, sending him through a sparkling vortex to arrive at the familiar space port of Betelgeuse Lot. Caoimhe just blinked slowly at Will. "Well... Aww, that's real nice?" she said. "I'm glad you can feel more than ya used to." Clearly she didn't quite get the implication.

Despite only being with the bounty hunters for two weeks, Aaliyah was on a heavy mission with them right now. They had infiltrated a small sub-section of some sort of giant intergalactic trafficking organisation, and when Daniel arrived at their location, they were currently gutting a giant ship, freeing prisoners and killing their captors. Many of them were in the heat of a ferocious battle. Caoimhe stared at Will for a few seconds, processing this. The way he'd said that... Was adorably dorkish. She couldn't help giggling. "Oh! Hehe, ohh! O-oh." She stammered to a stop when she realised just what he meant, staring at him more deeply than she had been before.

Aaliyah was recognisable in the sea of aliens, but she looked different. She and Kyun were fighting so in sync that they were a blur of blue and orange together, battering down opponents much larger and more numerous than they. Aaliyah landed from her last attack and stood up slowly, looking like a total badass. The bounty hunters regarded Daniel with confusion - who was he, and why had he leapt into battle right at the last moment? Caoimhe looked down into her lap. "I-it's okay. I ain't been confessed to before... Not by no one I cared 'bout, anyway. W-Will..." Despite being confused by his behaviour and his aura recently, his confession brought all her old feelings crashing back. She couldn't quite voice it though, so she just reached out with her hand and took his.

Aaliyah gasped and put her hands over her mouth. The suit had been masking his scent, but seeing him, smelling his scent when he took off his mask, it made her palpitate and her eyes well up in an instant. It had been a fortnight of anguish that she could only just ignore, but seeing him again, it was like they'd never been apart. She glanced briefly at Kyun, who chuckled and pushed her forward. "Go on, girl," she encouraged. Aaliyah sprinted at Daniel and leapt into his arms, not wanting to be apart from him any longer. Caoimhe tilted her head back and accepted the kiss, returning it to him too. This boy was so troubled, but so gentle when he needed to be, and he'd been nothing but kind to her. How could she not fall so intensely for him? With her other hand she gently stroked his cheek.

Aaliyah was enjoying the hug so much, she only pulled away when she realised what it was that Daniel just confessed to. "B-but, Danny," she mumbled, still entwined in his arms but looking into his face now. "Your father..." Caoimhe felt the heat too, and it wasn't just from him blushing. What was up with that? She pulled away, slightly out of breath, and regarded him curiously. "Will?" she whispered.

"Danny," breathed Aaliyah, putting one hand on his face and the other through his hair. She couldn't quite believe this - someone so wonderful had fallen for her, and had left his father to travel across the galaxy to find her? It was so overwhelming and wonderful, she couldn't think of anything to say other than to return his feelings. "I missed you too," she wheezed. "I... L-love you... Too." Was happiness like this something that she deserved? She was always a freak, an unloved outsider, but not to Daniel. He was always there for her, and he had come back for her despite his father being old and far away. Caoimhe was horrified. She tried to draw out William's pain and take it away, but the pain kept burning anew and twisting through his body again. "W-Will," she whimpered, getting to her feet and going over to him. What was happening? His usually red energy had gone an off-teal colour that totally didn't suit him. Just like his skin, it turned out, as he stood up and looked at her. All the blood drained from Caoimhe's face at that point. He looked dreadful.

Aaliyah's eyes welled up. "It's not strange," she whispered. At this point, she heard the bounty hunters snicker quietly, and then be hushed as they were pushed out of the room by one of them. Aaliyah looked away from Daniel briefly and then back to him. "I don't know how, though... C-can it wait until we're not in an alien sex trafficking ship?" she asked more loudly, remembering where they still were. Caoimhe took a step back and regarded this other Will with a guarded expression. "Who are you?" she asked quietly. Behind her back, she generated a small ball of green fire, ready to attack if needed.

Aaliyah kept her hand in Daniel's and ran with him back to their own ship, as the charges they'd laid down detonated. As a couple, they looked totally awesome! Now they were back on the Elysium and didn't have anyone around them, the bounty hunters having gone off to do their own thing, and Aaliyah couldn't help hugging Daniel again as soon as they were on board. Caoimhe tilted her head slightly. "Us?" she questioned, still holding the energy behind her. So sending Golem away had another, unintended effect on Will?

Aaliyah was clearly unable to wait any long either. She put her hand through Daniel's hair again and pulled him down to kiss her too. Her first kiss... Daniel probably could tell she'd never kissed anyone before, as her fangs slightly bashed his lips when they first connected. But they moved around slightly and it became the best feeling Aaliyah had ever experienced. Caoimhe didn't move from where she stood. So this other side of Will was... A psychic? Or he could see through solid objects? Because there was no way otherwise that he could see what she had in her hand behind her back. This freaked her out a bit, actually. "Get off my bed," she mumbled to him without conviction.

Aaliyah felt herself getting a little hot, and she had to stop kissing Daniel so she could breathe again. Her technique wasn't perfect just yet so she hadn't figured out how to breathe at the same time as kiss. They both heard someone clearing their throat at the door and turned to look. It was an alien Daniel didn't recognise: an incredibly tall, dark skinned woman with long, dark hair. She was staring intently at Daniel. "Daniel," Aaliyah murmured, letting go of him slowly. "This is... Dominique. Dominique, this is-" She was cut off as Dominique strode over and glared down at Daniel. "Hey, no," Caoimhe said, moving quickly and standing between other-Will and the door. "A'ight, do whatever ya want. Just... Tell me what's goin' on. Or let Will back out."

'Lover' was definitely too strong a word for it, but Aaliyah took to it and smiled shyly down at her feet. Dominique's eyes glinted fiercely. "This one you been pining for?" she asked Aaliyah in a deep, accented voice, while not looking away from Daniel. Aaliyah answered in the affirmative. Dominique continued to study Daniel as she said, "you be good. Not distract her when she fight. Not ever leave her." She said that last part slowly and it wasn't even a veiled threat. Caoimhe stayed by the door, ready to escape if need be. She had heard of D.I.D., it used to be called multiple personality disorder until it was renamed to be more specific. "How... How many personalities?" she asked quietly. And were they all as creepy as this one, who'd invaded their first kiss and was still looking at her like a piece of meat?

Dominique seemed satisfied with the answer, and gave Aaliyah a stern look before departing. Aaliyah sighed happily, seemingly the glare hadn't upset her at all. She took Daniel's hand and led him further into the ship. "Dominique's like a space policeman," she told Danny as they went to what looked like a kitchen, where the rest of the alien crew were preparing dinner. "She kinda... I dunno, she's kinda been motherin' me," Aaliyah admitted, still smiling. That explained Dominique's behaviour towards Daniel. Caoimhe suddenly felt immense guilt. She already felt awful for getting rid of Golem, even though she assumed it was better for both of them, but now to learn that she'd freed 'Huxley', among others... "Why did it take you so long to come out, then?" she asked. It had been a fortnight at least since Golem was expelled from Will's body.
