Well what else could they do? It was clear that death could get to them whenever they were, so it was best to try to goad him out. Although they didnt have a lot of hope for winning. A few moments passed and they couldnt find any signs that death was still around. “Do you think he actually retreated?” Daniel asked. “Tenpo!” Zeke said, but before he could go see if she was ok, he was grabbed by the throat by war. “Showing concern for your comrades? Signs of a weakling. Surround yourself with strong people and this weakness will dissipate.” War said. Morella shot her hair out and wrapped it around War, attempting to make him let go of Zeke. was that? It was. Ire only had a few seconds to figure out what to do. She shot towards Famine and full blast flew right into him. “Catch!” Ire shouted and Ica took the hint and zipped in and grabbed Honey. How was she here? Did Famine just teleport her here?

"We need to get back out there," Kyun said, pacing to the door. Aaliyah went to follow them, clearly not wanting to be in here anymore. Was anywhere safe for her now? Tenpo was pinned beneath one of War's huge, heavy feet, and she was gurgling from the weight of it on her. Her suit could withstand the pressure but it still hurt on her body. She couldn't draw breath to attack! They seemed to forget that Famine had four hands. When Ica tried to grab Honey, its other left hand swooped down and grabbed her too. Ica was instantly overcome by crushing lethargy and the agony of a long empty stomach. Famine was so focused on Honey, and now Ica, that it hadn't noticed Ire blowing part of it to smithereens.

"I agree." Corlock said. "Aaliyah...Im so sorry that this place wasnt safe. Stay with us and hopefully we can stop this somehow." Daniel said to her as he led her out. War started laughing as they struggled. Morella shouted as she pulled her hair away and then summoned one of her beasties and they charged at War. He was momentarily distracted, and Zeke managed to escape as Morella's beast charged War and knocked him off of tenpo. Ica's body drooped after Famine's effects losing the strength to do anything. Ire kept hitting Famine but he wasnt going down!! How much more could it take?!

Aaliyah was holding her bump as tightly as she could, shutting out the rest of the world - except for Daniel's voice. He had a unique tone of voice that he used only for her, no matter what he was saying or how he was speaking. It was the only thing that could calm to Aaliyah down, and it was working now as they walked out. Tenpo gasped for air a few times and was able to crawl away, taking shelter behind a pile of rubble. This guy was scarily strong! Famine only seemed to be focused on Honey and Ica now as it raised them towards its widening mouth. Maybe if they took away the source of its fascination... Squishy zipped in out of no where and was able to grab Ica out of because Famine's other arm was smashed up by Ire's attacks. Famine howled as if suffering a great loss when one of its snacks was taken away.

Daniel was doing his best to keep her calm, but even he was having trouble. They couldnt teleport Aaliyah in her condition so they had to rush back to the others. Hopefully they were doing ok...Zeke made his way to tenpo as they could hear the beast that Morella summoned getting killed by War. Morella didnt know what to do but she shot her hair at War to try to get him to stop but it was not working. Nice one Squishy! While it was distracted, Ire did the same and Scooped Honey from Famines other hand, blasting it in the process.

Tenpo took Zeke's hand as he came over to her. This was going badly, they'd never in all their years faced something like this. And these were only the apostles of something much more terrifying. Tenpo couldn't justify holding back anymore. She looked at Zeke with a sad but loving expression. "Zeke... You have to get far away," she said. Famine howled again as Ire took its other food and then hurt it. Honey was starting to come round, and was groaning in pain in Ire's grasp.

It didnt take long for zeke to realize what tenpo was thinking with the way she was looking at him. “Tenpo...we can figure something out. If you let loose we wont know what will happen. I cant lose you to this.” Zeke said to her. “Its alright I got ya.” Ire said as she was flying off away from Famine. She had to move Honey to a date location before she could return to the fight. Seemed Squishy was thinking the same thing as it carried Ica away from Famine.

Tenpo reached up and took Zeke's face gently in her hands. "You're right, we won't know," she murmured. "But we do know what will happen if we don't stop him." She glanced over at where War was cruelly tearing one of Morella's creatures apart. "Please." They had all managed to get away from Famine, but that was when they all started to feel hungry. It was a hunger like none of them had ever experienced, a deep starvation as if their bellies had never been full. Honey's eyes flew open and she clutched her stomach. It was empty but she wanted to vomit.

Zeke had a look that said he didn’t now want this but he could tell she was right. He gave her a sweet loving kiss then looked her in the eyes. “Give him hell. I love you.” He said. He hugged her tightly like he never wanted to let go and then quickly went and scooped up Morella as she was crying over the death of one of her babies. Ire cursed but still moved honey away form famine. She had to stop and clutch her stomach as well, as she looked back at famine. “Honey you need to run. I have to go back.” She said.

Tenpo kissed and held Zeke with just as much love, and turned away quickly so that he didn't see the tears in her eyes. The last time she'd used her powers to the full had been many, many years ago, before she'd even met Zeke, and it had been... She kept those memories in her mind as she strode slowly towards War. Honey retched and then nodded. "Sorry... For getting in the way," she said weakly to Ire as she struggled to stand.

War noticed that the others had left and stared down Tenpo. "heh so your comrades fled and left you to die huh? You seem confident that you may best me, as foolish as that may be. I shall grant you a warriors death." War said as he stalked towards Tenpo. Ire helped her stand as she controlled her gag reflex. It was horribly difficult but she was managing. "You arent in the way. This isnt your fault. Get somewhere safe. Ill come back for you once this is over. We still need to have that drink." Ire said to Honey as she turned around and was about to head back into the thick of it.

Tenpo thought it was more like War being left to die, but she wouldn't be cocky. She kept glancing around, knowing Ire was still nearby fighting famine, and she moved her hands over her suit to change the settings on it as she kept moving towards War. To him, it would look like she was nervous. To Zeke, she thought clearly: "Zeke? Ire and everyone else are still nearby, you have to tell them to get out. I don't know how... Big this will be." Honey was too weak to swoon, but she would have. Ire was just so badass right now. She staggered away and found an abandoned car, which she somehow managed to drive out of the city. Famine was crawling ominously through the streets, in search of sustenance.

Zeke told her he understood as he went to find Squishy and ICa. He called Ire and told her Tenpo was about to let loose. She fully understood what that meant and hightailed it away. Zeke found Squishy and Ica suffering from thier hunger and he he grabbed them both and escaped quickly. It was now just tenpo and War, who was looking very excited right now. He had no idea what was about to happen, but the way this earthling walked...she looked nervous but also walked with purpose. He was curious what she had.

Honey had only driven so far, so Ire was able to get in the vehicle with her. Tenpo saw that War had developed a somewhat hungry look, and sighed to herself. Oh, the power hungry. She wanted to goad him and tempt him to attack her first, so she took a deep breath and then exhaled loudly. So loudly. Her friends and Zeke could hear it from where they were, like a howling wind was whipping through the city. Her sigh alone was like a gale.

War was surprised as he felt the gale whip up. His hungry eyes looked even hungrier. “Hahah to hold such power on this miserable planet!!! Fascinating!!! You have piqued my interest earthling. Perhaps I shall expend a bit more power towards taking you out!” War said. He then quickly shot forward towards tenpo.

Tenpo inhaled again, but this time when she breathed out it was with a beautifully sung note. Or it would have sounded beautiful, if it had not been so devastatingly loud. Her suit was able to direct the sound, so she did right towards War's legs to knock them out from under him as he ran. Depending on how tough he was, his legs might get blasted straight off.

War was pretty tough so his legs werent blasted off. But his legs were hit with a force that it did knock his legs from under him. Did..was War, the horseman of harbinger, just fall to his knees in front of a mortal?! War growled as he stood up and smashed his hammer in front of Tenpo, sending a shock wave towards her.

Tenpo's suit had been designed, among other things, to withstand shockwaves of any magnitude. She planted her feet, bent her knees, and braced her back as the shockwave hit her, making her skid back slightly but nothing more. She sang another note, this time aimed at his head to knock him over backwards. The range was broad so it would be hard to dodge.

War wouldnt fall for the same trick twice so easily. He blocked Tenpos attack using his hammer although he was still sent skidding backwards a bit. Her power was quite insane. But war had not been in so many battles jsut to be taken out by this. If he was to go out he would make it so that hed meet his end when she went full power. “That all you got earthling? Im sure youre capable of more.” War said. He

Tenpo certainly had more. She had more power, but also more abilities that could create special attacks. She changed the settings on her suit slightly and then began to sing, alternating the pitch in her voice up and down. It caused the air around War to become heavy and then fluctuate like waves, pinning him and battering him from all sides.

So now it was gravity? She was just full of surprises! His armor was pretty tough though so he could take it but he wasnt just going to. War’s body began to glow so he lout out a powerful yowl as he then smashed his arms down on the ground and shook the ground all around them.

It wasn't gravity, Tenpo was just creating immense pressure with her voice. As Tenpo's feet were planted, she rode the shock waves running through ground like a surfer rode a wave. Her plan was to keep attacking War like this to weaken him, though she didn't underestimate that he had immense stamina. She kept pressing down on him with increasing pressure, but didn't notice that another, hungrier beast had spotted her and was creeping up from behind...

war welcomed it as he continued to take tenpos attacks. War was certainly slowed down by her attacks but he decided to go for her directly as he charged towards her once more. War hadnt noticed that Famine was heading towards them right now.

Okay, okay Tenpo could do this. She amped up a few notes, then used them to leap into the air. The sonic resonance she created was so thick that it visibly distorted the air beneath her, and around her fist as she levelled a powerful punch at war as he came at her.

War was over powered and knocked back but he refused to be pushed onto his back. He caught himself before he fell to the ground but it was difficult. He was getting really pissed now. “Alright the gloves are coming off!” He shouted at Tenpo as he held up his hammer. Looked like he was getting ready for a powerful attack.
