Heroes of Silvatica City

"We arent just going to let you take our stuff!" Hailey said angrily. Who did these guys think they were? "Sorry to say, but you wont have much choice in the matter. My comrade has already taken hold of your ship's controls. Unless you want it back, you will give us what we ask." The masked one said, while pointing at the robot. "So you're holding us hostage? What are you some kind of space bandits?" Daniel said. He felt like a fight was about to start. "Eh more like bounty hunters. With only occasional thievery from morons who cant conceal their hyperdrive trails. Seriously you were just asking for someone to come and take your stuff." The rainbow haired one said. "maybe we no steal? They seem weak. We no pick on weak people right adi?" The tall tentacle one said, looking back at someone behind him.

"I thought you guys were friends? Indie said she really liked talking to you." Zeke said. Surely they had been hanging out and chatting while Zeke was in his coma, and even before that. Well they talked they arrived at the place. This area certainly wasnt the safest place for a person to be. "We need to find her and take her from here. This place isnt safe." Zeke said as he squeezed Tenpo's hand.

All the tension in the room quickly dissipated once Aditya came out and hugged one of the humans. "Oh. Well looks like you guys are cool." The rainbow haired one said and the invaders relaxed even more than before. "How do you all know Aditya?" The masked one asked. "We helped her when she crash landed on earth a while back. She helped us stop an invasion." Kat said remembering that. "Hmmm. I do recall heading to earth to get her back." the masked one said. "Adi's friends are pijbes friends." The tall lanky tentacled alien said as he zipped over and picked up Aditya and Aaliyah in a hug.

"Let me see." Zeke said as he closed his eyes and concentrated. He couldnt hear her thoughts but he did hear a horrible noise. "Ahh!....screeching....nails on a chalkboard." He said holding his head. "trying to read my mind Zeke? I'm afraid that wont work." Indie said as she emerged from the shadows. She was wearing a black dress, which wasn't normal for Indie at all, but the strangest thing was the outline of some kind of figure behind her and her arm, which looked like it was infected with something.  "Indie?" Zeke said, very shocked and finding it difficult to process what was happening. "That is my name. Do you like the new look? I bet Tenpo would never be bold enough to dress like this." Indie said with a smirk.

"I would like to apologize for our earlier behavior. If we knew you were the ones who saved our dear little Aditya here, we would not have acted so hostile." Corlock said. "Speak for yerself." Morella muttered under her breath. "Well...no harm done. It is nice to see a friendly face out here." Elli said with a smile. Kat was so happy to see Aditya doing so well. She was worried about her after she left. "So since we're here....how about you let us take a look at your hyperdrive? We've been thinking of getting a better one after all." Corlock said. "I suppose its alright." Kat said, somewhat hesitantly. She trusted Aditya, but was somewhat on the fence with the others because of their earlier behavior. Haley couldnt take her eyes off of the prickly one, named Vixiix. It looked so...scary. Daniel was wary of them as well, but he tried not to show it since Aditya was here.

"I dont know. I cant read its mind." Zeke said. Indie smirked as she walked towards them. "What's wrong Zeke? Cat got your tongue? Don't feel like talking to me like you do with tenpo?!" Indie said, a bit of venom in her words. "Confused." Zeke said out loud, sending a shiver through Indie's spine. "Oh yes, I love hear your voice.~ However we will have to save that for later. I have somewhere to be." Indie said. She raised her hand up and her arm began to glow brighter. She smashed it down on the ground and smashed the pavement, making debri fly everywhere. Zeke grabbed Tenpo and hopped backwards as they shielded themselves from it, and when they looked up Indie was gone.

"hehe thanks, I think it's really cool too. Oh you havent met them but this is Squishy, Ica, and Hailey." Elli said, introducing the new members to Aditya. Hailey waved nervously. She had gotten used to Squishy, a little, but these other aliens were so...well alien. It was a bit nerve wracking. "Well mostI things in life are." Daniel retorted back to N-N, shooting her a glare of his own. Daniel was feeling a bit aggravated right now, on account of these "new friends" of theirs. "Pijbe like small glasses girl." Pijbe said as his tentacles moved around Kat. "hehe why thank you. I find you fascinating as well." Kat said, curious about Pijbe's body structure. "Dont you want to speak with them? they might know more about you." Ica whispered to Squishy.

"I....Im not sure." Zeke said. He was quite baffled about all this as well. To be quite honest, he was freaking out. One thing he did know was that Indie's change had to do with that shadow thing and they needed to get rid of it. "Lets follow her. She can't have gotten far." Zeke said to tenpo as he helped her up.

Daniel was getting a bit heated as well, and Elli decided to come in between everyone. "perhaps we should all relax. We can go to the rec room and catch up with Aditya and also become further acquainted." Elli said. "Pijbe like idea." Pijbe said. Vixiix simple nodded in response. Seems they were the only ones not trying to pick fights, although the others could be hotheads at times. "Yes, sounds like a lovely idea." Corlock said. He was enjoying himself honestly, but he would also like to see more of the ship. (what rush? lol) Ica nodded and kept quiet in response. Guess their introduction rubbed Squishy the wrong way, so finding out more about itself could wait a bit longer.

They headed back into the city, but there was no sign of her. Nobody even saw Indie come out of the alley. "So confused." Zeke said, seriously getting a headache from all this. "Maybe you should head back. Indie might be dangerous now. Ill find her and figure out what's happening." Zeke said. He didn't want to pull tenpo into this if he could help it.

They all somewhat agreed as they headed towards the rec room. Once there they had an assortment of workout gear, video games, lounge chairs, the works. "Wow this is quit impressive." Corlock said as he walked around. He didnt seem to really mean it though. "Pijbe like. Pijbe not know what this is." Pijbe said, looking at the video games. "Oh those are really fun. I can show you how to play." Hailey said to Pijbe as she led him over to the games. Vixiix went over to the exercise equipment, looking somewhat interested in how they worked out. "You guys should really think about getting a holoroom. Simulations can be pretty relaxing." Morella said as she walked over towards the lounging area and used her hair to make a hammock and started swinging on it. "They look like theyre getting...comfortable." Elli said with a smile.

"Im not trying to push you away...ok. How about we look around and see if we can spot her? Yell out if you spot her but dont try to confront her." Zeke said.

"Humans are quite adept at it." Daniel said to Aditya. He knew she didn't mean anything by it. She was so innocent. "Heh indeed." Corlock agreed as he joined Daniel Aaliyah Elli and Aditya in the common area. "So, what are you all doing out in this area of space?" Corlock asked them. "Oh? Thanks. It wasn't originally this color. I had to dye it when we were on a mission. I was thrown in jail for showing individuality. I took a liking to it so now its this color." Morella said with a smile. She seemed very proud of that fact. Vixiix was lifting the weights quite easily, and looking somewhat confused by how they worked. Kat went out and sat by varian outside of the rec room. "Sorry the doors so small. I work on making them bigger if we're going to have visitors." Kat said to him with a smile.

Zeke smiled and then quickly went and gave tenpo a hug then ran off to find Indie. After a couple moments of searching, tenpo began to notice that there were less people around. Even her guard had vanished. Her surroundings had become a lot darker as well.

"Oh, you mean this?" Daniel said holding up his metallic arm. "It....is a long story. Just know I am alright now. Still the same Daniel as before." Daniel explained. He was sure that telling Aditya about the horrors he had suffered would make her very sad, so he spared her the details. "Missing in space? That's quite the search you have ahead of you. You know, we are pretty good at tracking down things or people we need. If you say....hire us, we might be able to make your job easier." Corlock said. "Nope. I am very good at genetic manipulation. You could call it a specialty. I modified my hair so that I can freely control it with my mind. I can do yours too if you want. It's quite convenient." Morella said to Caoimhe. "Hehe yeah I suppose I am. Although, meeting you guys, I can tell I'm kind of a greenhorn here out in space. Most of my knowledge is just limited to what is on Earth." Kat said. Ica noticed them both wanting to chat so she nudged Squishy. "We should talk to her. She looks like she wants to speak to you." Ica told Squishy.

(the guy that came with them) "Ahhh alone at last. I think it's time we had a one on one Tenpo." Indie's voice came from the shadows and she soon appeared in front of Tenpo.

Daniel gave her a smile, thinking she probably wanted a hug. That was interrupted when Corlock said something about money. "Whoa whoa everyone calm down. You're right Aditya I'm sorry. They're your friends we wont charge them for helping." Corlock said. Daniel and Elli had such a hard time reading Corlock, especially because of his mask. Morella grinned. "oh? What tricks can you do? Im very interested." Morella said, giving Caoimhe a very interesting look. "Oh a greenhorn means like a newbie. Someone who barely knows anything about stuff." Kat said with a smile. Hehe guess greenhorn didnt translate. that was kind of funny. "Sss...somewhat. But maybe she is misunderstood? Appearances can be deceiving." Ica said.

"Don't bother to shout. I doubt Zeke can hear you right now. I have you cut off." Indie said. When tenpo reached for her, Indie snarled and slapped her away. "Don't touch me!" Indie said angrily.

Corlock chuckled when Aditya poked him. She was a bit fun to tease he had to admit. "We'd be glad to help. We're in between missions right now so we have the time to spare." Corlock said. While they were talking, Elli looked over at the one called Kyun, to see what she was doing. Morella's eyes sparkled when Caoimhe was done explaining. "How fascinating. Can you show me? You should be able to manipulate mine right? Do you see a certain color? What does it feel like? How are you able to do it?" Morella asked, her curiosity getting the better of her. "Hehe I dont know if I can repeat that." Kat said surprised at the noise. "I would really hope you guys can help me understand alien tech better so I can keep all my friends safe." Kat said to Varian. "Squishy is an alien, but we don't know what kind. Do you?" Ica asked N-N.

Indie gritted her teeth when Tenpo did that. "Why do you still look at me like that? Why arent you mad?! Im so mad that you're...so damn nice! I want to hate you so much for taking Zeke away from me!" Indie said, very frustrated.

"Corlock chuckled as he hugged Aditya. She was sweet, he loved that about her. "So tell me more about your situation. You said youre looking for your friends correct? Why would they be in space?" Corlock asked. Daniel decided to explain to corlock their situation, keeping it condensed so it wouldnt drag on too long. Pijbe was playing with Hailey so Vixiix was just with Kyun. Elli decided to head over to the two of them. "How do you two like our equipment?" Elli asked, doing her best to be nice. "oooohoho this is so cool! My energy looks like I would think it would. Can your parents do this? Is it genetic?" Morella asked waving her arm in awe. She was quite floored by this. That seemed somewhat concerning, but Kat wouldnt question Varian about it. "Hey are you hungry? I can make you something to eat if you want." She said with a smile. Ica did not mean any offense to N-N, so she just remained quiet. She was also interested in what N-N could know about Squishy.

Indie could read her lips, and it was just making her more upset. "You are so frustrating. but..." Indie said softening a bit. Then the shadow creature from before came up from behind her. "No butsss. She took your important person. Punishhh herrr." The shadow said stroking Indies face. It looked like it had her under some sort of spell. Indies eyes flashed and she glared at Tenpo.

"Hmm certainly sounds like a predicament. But finding cosmic deities like this knight person shouldn't be too difficult." Corlock said. Those kind of beings were quite rare, at least based on her description, so they could probably find her easily through their sources. "I can show you guys how to use it. It's actually pretty fun once you know." Elli said as she collapsed her suit and then got on the equipment and demonstrated."Interesting." Morella said rubbing her chin. She was very fascinated by this. "Can I have a bit of your hair? I would love to see how your body chemistry works." Morella asked Caoimhe. "I wouldnt say Im the best cook but I think I could make something good for you." Kat said. "Im going to go check out the comm room, just to make sure nobody else has tried to hail us." Kat said to Vairan. Ica pricked a bit when she cut Squishy but since Squishy didnt react, Ica remained silent.

"I am your friend. I give you powerrrrr. Power to take back what's yoursssss." The creature said. "You...took zeke...from me....I have to.....make you...go away.." Indie said, clearly struggling but losing out to the mind control as she raised her hand and it started to glow like before.

"Well I...I was a legendary assassin. There wasnt anybody I could not track down. Plus we have Morella and N-N for information gathering. Don't worry, we can find her. And your other missing friend as well. I actually think I might know where he is already." Corlock said. "Oh. Well I dont have any special gifts like everyone else. Other than my suit I dont really have anything that sets me apart from the others." Elli said as she began to demonstrate how the equipment worked. "That may be true, but hair is the least invasive way of doing things. Plus hair is easier to transport because you dont need specific tools." Morella said as she took Caoimhe's hair and put it in one of her pockets. She would analyze it later. "Although if you're fine with blood Id happily take some." Morella said. "hehe awww thats nice to hear." Kat said as they headed towards the comm rom. Ica gently grabbed Squishy's hand and licked it. "I heard saliva can make the healing process quicker." Ica said matter of factly.

Indie still looked conflicted and it looked like she was fighting, but she was not winning. She was about to hit Tenpo but then flying in from the darkness was Zeke, who delivered a kick to Indies face, sending her flying. "Sorry Indie." He said quickly as he almost fell to the ground. His body was still weak.
