Heroes of Silvatica City

And so, the class came to an end. Jin wanted to chat to Drago a bit more at the end, but a certain someone was waiting for her and wouldn't let her go when he saw her. She looked around to see if Drago was there, but he had already gone. She would regret not leaving the classroom with him for a long time afterwards...

That weekend, there was a party for their year group and everyone was invited. One of the popular girls had a really big house and lax parents, so they were all invited around for drinks and fun. She had a mini dance floor and a karaoke machine too. Some of them took a bit of convincing, but they all ended up going. Even Lloyd and Chloe. Lloyd had put on her best jumper dress and brought two bottles of no-sugar lemonade with her. Sugar made her anxious and her sister forbade her from taking alcohol. The others all dressed to the nines and brought alcohol with them. Amber jacked a bottle of her foster dad's rum and squeezed into a little black dress. She was still wearing her black Doc Martin boots so she didn't look too flashy. Unlike Jin, who'd draped herself in the tiniest sparkliest little dress with impossibly tall sandal heels. She'd invited Drago out of the blue, but she didn't expect him to come.

"Shots! Let's gooo!" Jin whooped, passing out little glasses on a tray to everyone in the group, not including Drago who wasn't anywhere near them. Lloyd also didn't drink hers, so Cha made Mia drink it. "Let's go dance!" she demanded of the big girl, grabbing her hand and dragging her to the dance floor so she could shimmy her very tightly clad booty. She wasn't drunk already but she enjoyed a party. The music was escalating so they all made their way to the dance floor, or the edges of it. Amber hung out on the edges with Lloyd, Chloe, and a beer. "Wow, she's bold," she commented as they watched Jin begin to dance. There was no way she was already drunk, probably just having fun. "How is she doing that?" Lloyd asked when she did a particularly elaborate dance move somehow without flashing panty. Sakura kept hold of Milo's hand as they shimmied through the crowd on the dance floor too. She also didn't drink much - her parents were oddly strict about it - but tonight she was also feeling adventurous. And she was hoping Milo was enjoying her little blue dress.

Cha was just happy that that annoying green blob was no where in sight - that thing had been pissing her off so it was nice to have Mia without it for one night. They kept dancing and drinking, and pretty sooner Cha was sitting on Mia's shoulders and leading the crowd in an anthemic chant. Jin had been drinking too, and doing something odd. Only Drago had probably noticed it, because he was the only one watching from a distance. Her boyfriend had been dancing behind her the whole night, but it looked like she was subtly trying to move away from him. The pair disappeared for a minute or two, then reappeared and Jin had a new drink in her hand. She looked really drunk all of a sudden. The trio by the wall had gone to sit down by a fish tank. Lloyd and Chloe were soberly sipping on the lemonade while Amber swayed and talked at them in a drunken tone. "But you two really are nice," she told them for the umpteenth time. "Thank you," Lloyd shouted over the music. "You are nice too." Sakura smiled as she took the drink and gently bumped it against Milo's. Then she opened her throat and downed the whole thing in one. "Woo! Animal!" Jin whooped as she ran past her friend. Sakura giggled and then grinned playfully at Milo.

Cha kept whooping and cheering, having the time of her life up on Mia's shoulders. Mia's huge, muscly shoulders... When the song ended, everyone cheered and started dancing more slowly to the next one. Cha sighed happily and keeled forward to rest on top of Mia's head. Jin had stopped dancing and looked like she wanted to walk off the floor, but her boyfriend kept a tight grip on her arm and made her slow dance with him. She was laughing but she looked uncomfortable. Amber looked up at DJ and grinned. "In a bit. Come sit," she slurred, pulling him down into the armchair beside her. He kind of squished her so she shuffled around. "Come sit with us, Deej." Sakura and Milo were four drinks in by that point, and Sakura refused the fifth. She drew circles either side of her head - this was crazy! But also crazy fun!

Cha gently squeezed Mia's head between her thighs and giggled. "Me too," she said. "But it's makin' me sleepy a bit." If Cha didn't stay energised the drink would make her drowsy. Slow dancing with Mia in this weird way was so nice though. She draped her arms over Mia's head and sighed happily. At some point during Drago's indecision, Jin and her boyfriend disappeared. "Yeah," Amber said to DJ, nodding fervently. "We're havin' fun with the fishies." They were sat next to a giant fish tank full of exotic shiny animals. "This one's my fave," said Amber, pointing to a regular little gold fish. Sakura smiled shyly and did a sort of half-nod, half-shake of her head. She wasn't sure, this song was kind of sweet so to dance together would be... Romantic? But she had always loved Milo, one way or another, except that one time DJ had put a plaster on her cut knee and she fancied him for a month afterwards... She ended up thinking too much and just sort of leaned against Milo invitingly.

"N-nuh," Cha complained, reaching out towards the dance floor again as Mia walked off with her. Despite how huge the girl's house was, Cha still had to duck so she didn't get smacked when they walked through the doorway. They couldn't have gone far, but Drago hadn't found Jin and her boyfriend yet. He did see a clue though. One of Jin's impossibly high heels had been left at the bottom of the big staircase going up. "Y-you like blue huh?" Amber asked, hiccuping a bit as she looked at DJ. Lloyd looked at Chloe and nodded, getting up to go over to the corner. "What is it?" she asked. Sakura was just having fun and not thinking too much. There was no one else in this room that she would rather dance with - maybe the twins for a bit of fun, or up on Mia's shoulders, but that was it. Milo was the only one she was here for.

Cha was about to scold Mia for going to take food from someone else's house, but meh their friend was rich and wouldn't mind. Besides, it looked like other people had been going at the cupboards already. And there was no stopping Mia when she got going towards food. Cha reluctantly slid off of Mia's shoulders to let her go fridge raiding. There were lots of rooms upstairs when Drago went up, and even at least one more floor. Amber grinned. "Me too," she said. "Hey, they have a blue fishbowl drink over there, you want some?" There was a table with a whole bunch of fishbowls filled with various coloured cocktails, including two different shades of blue drinks. Lloyd blinked and squinted over at the pair. "Is that flirting?" she asked, not having seen it before. Sakura looked up at Milo and grinned goofily. "Cheesy," she signed sloppily to him. "You look suave."

Oh Mia, always so considerate. And calling her dear too. Cha smiled a wonky smile at her big friend. She leaned over and grabbed the piece of meat in Mia's hand with her teeth, gently pulling it out of her grasp and eating it - all while keeping wobbly eye contact of course. It took Drago a while, though it was less than a blink in real time, until he found a locked door. It was the only locked door he'd encountered. That couldn't be good. Amber grabbed DJ's hand with a strong grip and pulled herself up. Whoops, she stumbled a bit and fell against him. "So-sorry," she hicked. "They are holding hands," Lloyd confirmed. "But why did you read about flirting?" Sakura kept hold of Milo's hands, with their fingers sweetly intertwined. She was happy doing whatever so she let him lead her.

Cha snorted and chewed hastily. That euphemism really missed the mark, but Cha would gladly chew anything of Mia's... "H-how are you so drunk tonight?" she asked her big friend, who was normally so unaffected by booze. If Drago had frozen time then he wouldn't hear anything. Amber took what DJ said to mean that he thought she was too drunk, so she didn't dive into the fishbowl like she'd been planning to. "Do you plan to use what you have learned on your preferred gender?" Lloyd asked, feeling like the two of them were best friends now so they could ask such questions. Sakura signed in agreement. This was a big bougie place indeed.

Cha was about to ask who this family person was with such concoctions but then Mia started touching her arm. It sent pleasant shivers all through her body, but it was also too much. "You're soooo drunk," she scolded her, moving her arm away. She didn't want Mia to touch her like this when she was off her face - this should be a sober action. Drago couldn't hear much beyond some shuffling sounds. Then he heard Jin's voice mumble a protest. Amber murmured in agreement, but gagged when she tasted it. Guh, this was too much. She drank some more and looked up at DJ. Lloyd nodded as she listened, a trick that she learned from her sister. "I do not think I am capable of those kinds of feelings," she responded, thinking on it. "To me, people fit on four levels. The worst, okay, good, and the best. The best is my sister and I would never flirt with her, and good people are friends, who I know you should not flirt with. Anyone below that is not worth flirting with." Sakura looked around at Milo after he said her name in such a deep tone. Hmm?

"I bet you never had a hangover," Cha said, reaching up and putting her hand on top of Mia's head to pat it. "Trust me, you're a big girl so your hangover would be huuuuuge, yae-bo." Oh shit, she accidentally called Mia a romantic pet name without thinking. And what a retched sight Drago beheld then. Jin was sprawled out on the bed, other shoe still on and her panties swinging around that ankle. She had her other foot pressed up against her boyfriend's chest as he loomed over her, clearly trying to push him away. The boyfriend looked around at Drago and snarled. "Don't you know to knock?" Amber returned the smile to DJ. It gave her whole face life, lifting colour into her pallid cheeks and making her look much less goth. "You are correct," Lloyd said. "But then, I would have to make a different category for potentially more than one person. Making a new category... No, I do not want that." She was very stuck in her ways. Sakura giggled silently and signed: "you're very drunk, aren't you? Silly Milo." When she signed out his name, she had to sign out each letter as was customary with sign language. But with Milo's name, she couldn't help but add a little flare and fun every time. Other peoples' names were a series of letters, but Milo's name was a piece of music.

"Sh-shuddup!" Cha snapped, grabbing the nearest drinks which happened to be two ciders and shoving one into Mia's hand. "Shuddup and drink!" Ugh, how embarrassing. Even though she'd always wanted to call Mia yae-bo or something else like that. The boyfriend grunted and pushed back off the wall, roughly grabbing Drago's collar. "The hell are you doing? Get out!" he snapped. They were both pretty big guys so Drago didn't have the upper hand here. Even in the darkness, DJ could see Amber's blush. "S-stop it!" she chided him. Lloyd nodded and leant back, satisfied with their conversation. It had been good. Chloe was steadily moving from the neutral category into the good category of person. Sakura kept giggling and waved her hands around too. This was so much more fun with Milo.

Cha chugged it too and then did a stretch. "I wanna dance more with ya, let's go!" she demanded. The boyfriend grimaced and clenched his fist. "So it's like that huh?" He punched Drago straight in the nose, making a loud cracking sound. Before he could punch him again, something like a little ember floated through the air and in front of his eyes. Then it popped with a bright flash and blinding him, making him release Drago and stumble back. Amber just shook her head. "S-so can I ask you a personal question?" she asked boldly, seeing as they were being honest. Sakura didn't fight it, she twined her fingers around his too and then looked at Milo intently. Their faces were close together. She could feel his heat. What was happening?
