Magical Warriors of Silvatica

That was terrible advice to give Maui and Padma, as they had no idea what would be out of the ordinary here. Except when Foo was taken, that was definitely out of the ordinary. "FOO?!" she cried out, looking around wildly. Elvira's ruddy cheeks went pale. "A-ARE THERE BEASTS HERE?!" Padma shout-asked her over the wind. Elvira nodded. There were indeed some giant, nasty creatures here.

What a horrendous beast! "W-WHAT IS THAT?!" Padma asked Elvira loudly. "I DON'T KNOW!" she replied. "THAT DOESN'T BELONG HERE!" If even Elvira didn't recognise it then they were in trouble. They had to help Foo! Padma quickly concentrated on her shard and transformed into her sparkling gear. Her cape and skirt whipped around in the wind, revealing the thigh gap above her boots, but at this point she didn't care. Elvira thought she looked quite beautiful.

Padma was willing to be told what to do, as a submissive type of person. She nodded her agreement with Maui and ran over to Elvira. "We have to leave!" she shouted to her, but Elvira wasn't budging. She didn't look frozen with fright, though - she looked intrigued by this whole situation. She was watching the beast, Maui, and now Padma really closely. "Is this what he meant? Transforming?" she asked Padma in a voice too quiet to be heard. Padma tugged on her arm but she wasn't budging. That was weird. Through Padma's magical glove and Elvira's thick furs, she felt very cold...

"I want to fight like him," Elvira was saying, watching Maui leaping around in awe. Padma had given up getting her to move, and was watching them too. The creature was starting to get up and was looming over Maui. "Maui, look out!" Padma cried out, zipping forward and pushing the beast back with a water enforced throw before it could swing down on Maui. That was odd - she had always called Maui 'brother' in the past.

Padma would happily fight alongside Maui, like they'd been training to. "Aqua tornado! she agreed, taking up the appropriate stance for the attack. The creature was getting up slowly from where it had been pushed down again. The water Padma had splashed on its stomach when she pushed it had gone hard. Padma was unfamiliar with the concept of freezing.

Padma did her best, but this was no ordinary Aqua Tornado. The water became hard, almost looking like Foo's special shards, as the scythed through the air like bullets. Padma was very confused, but kept up her attacked to make this Ice Tornado even more deadly. It would like tear the beast apart.

Padma was a little horrified by the bloody sight before them and averted her gaze. Even knowing doing this might liberate whatever creature was inside, it was still a bad thing to have to hurt a living creature, evil or otherwise. Elvira was watching from the side in awe.

"Maui!" Padma cried out, watching helplessly as her friend sailed through the air like a rag doll. She turned to run after him, in so doing turning her back on the beast who was charging their way. Elvira had seen this kind of thing happen before, with another person turning their back on a stampeding and angered animal. "Look out!" she snapped, leaping forward and throwing her arm up around Padma to try to push her away. But when she threw her arm in an arcing motion to grab her, something unusual happened. Her outfit morphed and changed into something pristinely white and lilac, a colour that neither she or Padma had seen more than a few times. A barrage of ice shards projected from her arm and flew towards the creature, running it through gruesomely. She and Padma were sprayed with its blood.

Padma only just registered that Elvira had transformed and that the beast hadn't, before she was stumbling through the snow towards Maui. "Maui?! Maui brother!" she called out to him, falling to her knees in the snow beside him.

"Y-yes. Yes you are!" Padma said happily, wiping her eyes. She had almost leaned in to embrace him then... That would be so horrendously inappropriate, so she managed to stop herself despite really wanting to in the moment. "Oh, Foo? He, uhh..." Padma had quite forgotten about Foo as she got to her feet and looked at Elvira. Oh, Foo was at her feet.

They had been a little busy to make sure Foo didn't get a coating of snow, but they'd all had a dusting of it anyway. Elvira was staring down at her arms, covered as they were in crisp white fur and lilac patterned sleeves. She felt so... Flashy? Padma and Maui approached her. "You have transformed too, sister Elvira," said Padma. "And your ability was very strong."

Elvira held her head high and looked at Maui and Padma. "So... I am like the two of you?" she asked. Padma nodded, smiling slightly. "Yes. You can help save the world with us. And... You saved my life just now. Thank you." Elvira realised that she had done so, without thinking, and it made her feel... Good? She slowly nodded and agreed to come with the two of them. They went back with Foo to her hut.
