Magical Warriors of Silvatica

Padma thought about it and then looked at Maui. “I’ll be fine,” she said bravely, before running and jumping after her friends. She was terrified and it nearly ended horribly, but the jump was such a rush! She just wanted Maui to see how cool she was... Just like Elvira, she landed gracefully and stood to face the monsters.

”I want them all,” Elvira said suddenly, giving Dae-Jung a look. Feeling powerful again was a rush and she didn’t want to be denied her strength and independence - not anymore, not like she had been every day since her leg slipped into that river. Dae-Jung knew this. Then again... “You can have those two,” she offered generously, pointing to two of the biggest as something huge formed in her hands. She swung her arms round and then smashed an enormous broad sword onto the concrete. Wow. How would her arms support that?!

Elvira wanted to snap at Dae-Jung not to coddle her - he was too soft on her these days, which she thought was him pitying her when really it was something sweeter, something she herself felt which was stopping her from doing said snapping. Scowling instead, Elvira raised her huge sword with a little effort that only made her look stronger. When she swung it down towards the charging beasts, it didn’t appear like she had cut anything close to them. Yet they all split in two and died screaming. That was intense...

Elvira looked at the destruction she had created, then sighed and slammed her giant blade down on the ground again. It vanished a moment later and she swayed slightly. The feeling of strength and power was potently addicting... With a pissed off look on her face, Elvira turned to Dae-Jung. "Your turn next," she said to him in Korean.

"Truly spectacular, and befitting of your name!" Fantasia praised Elvira. But Elvira didn't seem pleased by all their praise as she just scowled at everyone, and shifted her weight back onto the one leg that worked normally. She would not give herself the comfort of having two legs again. Padma looked around uncomfortably as the people in the city around them began to stare.

"That not good," Padma said. "We go to fairy world." Elvira grunted her agreement. Fantasia looked to the others for their consent, adding: "in our world, your powers will be more potent. So you will be able to fight with ease and thus there is no danger."

Fantasia turned and gave Fable a smile, but her eyes held a steely annoyance. She had been sugar coating it to further persuade them into coming, but naturally the socially inept Fable had not picked up on that, instead opting to be painfully honest. Oh well. When they got back through the portal, Fantasia stretched and transformed back into her humanoid form. She was a painfully beautiful woman with her tanned skin and platinum hair, and ample figure- "oopsie~", she cooed when she realised she had forgotten to materialise clothing. The girls hurriedly averted their gazes, though not without feeling inadequate in their own bodies. "Hmm, I can't quite fix it. Maui, let me borrow this," she said to the boy as she flounced over to him and grabbed his shirt. "Uh, I-I have some spare!" Robin said hastily, reaching into her rucksack and flinging some spare clothes at Fantasia. The princess pouted, and donned Robin's offering of a oversized PJs.

Fantasia pouted a bit more, but then gave Maui the sweetest smile. "Thank you," she cooed to Robin after Maui told her what to do. She ignored Fable entirely as she flounced to the middle of the group, none of whom looked surprised by her transforming so what was Fable's point? "Now that you are all here, we can prepare properly for the battles to come," she said, throwing her arms wide and making her royal assets bounce.

They all seemed pretty pumped to go, but Padma was unable to stifle a yawn. "Sorry," she mumbled bashfully, rubbing her eyes. She was pretty tired, it had been a long day and all the magic use must have been catching up to them - or the ones who used it anyway. Padma was certainly lethargic and could do with a break. "Perhaps we should rest first," Fantasia suggested. She herself had been on the run for a few days without respite, but was hiding it well.

"I too," Elvira said, meaning to join Dae-Jung on the first shift. "Is there anything to eat?" Robin asked Fantasia and Fable. They couldn't go starving.

But seeing as this was an abandoned house, the food had long since been taken so there was none of it left. Elvira shrugged in response to Dae-Jung. "A bit," she said. They were speaking Korean now, and her Korean was better than her English. "Is safer to keep watch in pairs."

"Unbelievable," Robin muttered quietly. So they all ventured out in search of food, hoping they would find something soon because they were all pretty starving. Elvira looked thoughtfully at her leg, and then at Dae-Jung. He was being... Nice. "I try not think about it," she said. "If I get used to it... It be hard to go back." She was still able and capable with her limp leg, at least she still had it after all. But she never felt complete without it.
