”Summon a portal,” Fantasia instructed Fable as she settled even more comfortably in Maui’s arms. Padma has looked over at him briefly but became shy when she saw him staring at her eyes intensely. That was a look she... Very muched liked. Robin sent her dad a quick text and had grabbed the three of them some emergency travel bags before they went to leave.

Fantasia kneaded her paws slightly into the back of Fable's head and smirked, amused by the fact that this would make him very uncomfortable. Maui didn't know it but in fairy culture, a royal would never be carried by a 'commoner' like Fable. But Fantasia had never been interested in traditions anyway. Robin gladly took Sunny's hand for a lift up, and Padma took Maui's too. He was super fit and lifted her with ease, and when Padma was sat in front of him she almost forgot the situation they were in. They had to squeeze close together because Fable wasn't as big as Foo, so Padma had her back pressed to his chest. She... Felt something stir in her that she'd never felt before, and she turned her head to give Maui an intrigued and dopey look.

Padma slid back slightly when Fable took off, and her butt pressed back against Maui more than she'd wanted it too. She thought she felt something in Maui's pocket and wondered briefly what it was, but then they were flying over the metal metropolis that was Dae-Jung's world again. She had been in a city or two in New Zealand, but they did not compare to the heights and lights of Seoul. It was breathtaking.

Elvira had always been independent her whole life, she’d been a hunter gatherer on the tundra and had had to survive on her own for however long after the first adventure was over. To be doted on by Dae-Jung was beyond frustrating for her. She was eternally greatful, not least because he’d saved her life, but she couldn’t help feeling pathetic because of it. Not to mention, Dae-Jung was angry at the fairies for what had happened to her and that made her feel like he saw her as less than human... When their friends arrived, Elvira was out at language class.

They landed on a spacious balcony, right at the top of the skyscraper that Dae-Jung and Elvira called home. The view was staggering from up here. Padma got distracted for a little while, looking out over the city. "Dae!" Robin said in delight, hopping off of the great owl and going to give Dae-Jung a hug. She knew it would probably make him uncomfortable, but that was part of the fun.

Fantasia got the same sense from Dae-Jung as she did from Robin, but even more so somehow. It made sense that the most openly hostile of the elements would be the most hostile towards them. "And I am Fantasia," she introduced herself, not bowing as Fable had but holding her little head high as she perched on one of Dae-Jung's outdoor chairs. "Royal Princess of the fairy folk and-" "They want us to kill Foo," Padma cut across Fantasia in a show of completely un-Padma boldness.

Fantasia looked away for only the briefest of seconds, but then focused again. She had maintained the lie for hundreds of years, she would not reveal the truth now. "We need your help," she said to Dae-Jung. "And the help of the Fierce Frost. Where is she?" That was when they heard the door opening, presumably as Elvira came home.

Elvira was wearing a little makeup and had been hoping to draw some kind of attention from Dae-Jung. It was obvious to anyone else that she was infatuated with the one who had saved her life, taken her in, and taught her so much, so she did her best to make him like her as a woman. She wasn't good at it because it clearly wasn't working. Anyway, Elvira looked happy to see her friends as she walked unevenly over to them and gave them each a brief hug. "Looking good," Robin commented. But where was her walking stick? Was she making herself walk without it?

As soon as Fable called her lovely, Elvira took an instant and intense disliking for him. She wasn’t fond of fairies but not to an extreme degree like some of the others. But that hadn’t been a great start to their encounter.

Elvira didn’t know why Dae-Jung was looking at her like that. “Big yes,” she said gruffly, her English not being great but her sentiment being very clear.

Elvira, Robin, and Padma all gave Maui a different look. Elvira was thinking that Maui was still the same for being super excited to do something so mega. Robin was thinking he was too excitable to go out and kill Foo. And Padma, while being torn to shreds about Foo, was completely smitten with Maui being Maui. Anyway, onto the gems...

Elvira took her gem and felt a sting run through her veins. The sting invigorated her whole system, including her leg that felt so little these days. She looked down at it, flexing her toes and feeling the material of her socks against her sole. She had both her legs back... But she figured that when this mission was done, she’d go back to only having minimal feeling there. So as such, she quelled the joy that she was feeling and ignored her newly restored leg.

Elvira nodded in agreement and ran to the edge of the balcony. Before anyone could stop her or warn her against it, she leapt over the edge and plummeted hundreds of metres down to the Seoul streets below. Padma and Robin were worried but they didn’t want to leap down like she had - would they even survive it?
