Magical Warriors of Silvatica

"That could be. There are tons of you humans on this planet." Foo said. "Oh but wait. It might be a problem if we meet other humans who are not as na...uh kind as the two of you. Perhaps we should train a bit just in case you two find yourselves fightin' humans." Foo said. Hmm that certainly was true that not all people were good like Padma and Maui. Maui had met some pretty nasty tourists on his islands so he could see where Foo was coming from.

Foo was quite surprised. He thought Padma would be against it, from what little he knew about her, but he was glad to hear she was on board. "Well good. First thing I wanna check is your affinity." Foo said. "Affinity? What do you mean?" Maui asked. "The artifact grants you two the power to tap into it and grant ya' unique abilities. That showed with the transformation. I wanna see if you two are good with a specific element because it might let ya connect with this one." Foo said holding the shard they got from the fish.

Maui also lifted his arm to show his shard. Foo decided to check Padma first, so he floated over to her. He closed his eyes and set his head agaisnt her shard. He channeled some power into it, and the drinks that Maui had brought them started floating and flew at padma, circling around her and foo. Maui was amazed as he just watched it happen as Padma transformed back into her magical outfit from before. Foo opened his eyes and looked at her. "hmm. Seems you have the power of rain. Or a weaker version of it anyway." Foo said to Padma."Oh like a drizzle yeah?" Maui said.

"Well dont try to link it to any kind of fate or destiny type situation. It is just random chance at you were hit with a shard containing that ability." Foo said. Maui felt bad that those were the only times Padma had experienced rain. He hoped she could see it in a better light on their adventures. "your turn." Foo said. He went over and did the same thing he did with padma as he put his energy into Maui's shard. They could feel a slight wind whipping up around them, lifting Maui up a bit as he transformed. "Seems you have the ability of breeze." Foo said. "Sweet~. This will make shreddin' waves a lot more fun!" Maui said with a grin.

"oh nani!! I bet you havent surfed before ya? I for reals need to take you." Maui said. "Uh hello? training? We have no time for whatever that is. We need to figure out what you two can do before anything else." Foo said. "Oh and I have just the place to do that." Foo said. He whipped his finger around and touched the ground as a large magi circle appeared below them. Padma and maui could then feel themselves falling as they soon landed and found themselves in a wipe open room.

"Its an interdenominational space I created using transference magic." foo said proudly. '"I have no idea what that means foo." Maui said although he looked impressed. Maui also got a glimpse of Padma's calves so he had a bit of a smile on his face. Foo sighed. "its a training room in another dimension. If we're here, we can test you two and figure out how you guys can fight." Foo said. The room didnt have anything in it, and just touching the ground it felt very solid. It seemed like the sturdiest room ever created.

"is a little bright ya?" Maui said. foo sighed as he waved his finger and it seemed more magic happened and the room changed to a darker grey color. "Much better. so how does this work?" Maui asked. "Simple. I will make you some training dummies. You're goal is to defeat them. Depending on how you fight and how long you take, Ill adjust the training accordingly." Foo said. "seems pretty simple, right nani?" Maui said, full of confidence from who knows where.

The next week could only be described as somewhat hellish training. The training dummies that Foo had made were tough. Like really tough. Padma and Maui first for their butts handed to them. Foo said he wouldnt be satisfied with them unless they were able to defeat them easily. So they continued to fight and get better until they were finally able to beat it. Padma had learned she could enhance her hits by adding water to them, and Maui learned he could increase his speed simply by using the wind. They also figured out that when not transformed they had slight control over their element as well. Once the week was over not only their skills had improved but they also had a good bit of teamwork. "Good Id say that your training is finally complete." Foo said proudly.

"hmmm...I suppose so. After a day of rest we need to move on. I know where the next shard is, and I want us to get there quickly." Foo said. Maui was also exhausted but at the same time really hyped up. This had been the most fun he had doing anything! Plus being with padma made it twice as fun. Hearing they could rest, Maui jumped up excitedly. "Oh! Now we can surf! It feels like forever now since I've been. Nani, you wanna hit the beach?" Maui said to Padma.

Foo released them from the training room and Maui quickly got ready for the beach. He took Padma to a place for her to get a swimsuit as well, due to her not having that many clothes, and they headed to the beach. He also rented her out a surfboard and told her what they were going to do.

Probably due to her Hijabe. Even though he couldnt see he was sure her swimsuit looked good. "Looking good there nani. ALright lets head out to the water." Maui said. He lead her out into the water keeping to the shallow end so she could feel the water. It was pretty warm this time of the year so she wouldnt have to worry about it being really cold.

Maui was very impressed and happy she could do that. "alright good. Now follow me. We will hit small waves first then move on to big one ya?" Maui said as he began to paddle out a bit. His idea of teaching was teaching by doing. He would stay close by just in case she needed help.
