"I was gonna say that," Elvira couldn't help but say as she strode ahead of Dae-Jung between the crowd. They all shivered and looked shocked in her wake. Where was that cold coming from?! Padma was really feeling the music, and danced way more naturally in her magical outfit. And confidence was radiating from her like never before. She took hold of both of Maui's hands and was shimmying around. Where was this boldness coming from?! "We don't have any Brazilian Real- uh, money," Robin pointed out to Foo. "Without money, we can't eat."

Dae-jung just folllowed, making sure to not lose sight of Elvira. Maui had no idea but he was loving it!! He danced around along with Padma, tempted to don his suit as well, but deciding against it since his wasnt as festive. “Hmm? Oh right. I suppose Ill cast the same thing for you that I did for Maui.” Foo said as he closed his eyes and began to glow slightly. When it was over he reached down into Robins pocket and pulled out some cash that wasnt there before. “There, now you will always have the currency of wherever we go. Now lets get some food.” Foo said.

Some of the dancers pushed Padma and Maui more close together, and it was a bit too personal so Padma turned around and danced with her back up against Maui's chest. This felt really nice. Being up here with him, she had forgotten where they were and that anyone else was around. Oh, well... There was that. "Fair enough," Robin said, pulling Devi in tighter to go get some food.

Maui had already forgotten that the other people were around them and just mainly focused on Padma. It felt like they were dancing for hours, and soon the party was starting to die down a bit. Huh, Foo thought she would question it more. Heh that’s one thing he liked about Robin. So accepting of strange things.

The music had died down, and now Padma and Maui were just slow dancing, with her resting her head on his shoulder. Her outfit had changed back long ago without her noticing, she was just solely focused on the rhythm and Maui the whole time. The others had sat down at an outdoor restaurant and were eating, watching the two dance. "He definitely should ask her out," Elvira insisted again. "It's so obvious he likes her!" "Yeah, but she's new to the whole concept of boys," Robin said sagely. "Maybe she's just experimenting and doesn't actually like him." "Then he'd get soooo heartbroken," Devi chimed in.

Maui was very happy to slow dance with Padma. It was really relaxing and comforting. Padma always seemed to make Maui feel so good and he loved it. He....he loved her. He was abosolutely sure of that after today. “Feelings are complicated. Perhaps just leaving them to their own devices while we continue our journey will give them time to understand their feelings.” Dae-jung said. “Hehe that was quite an astute thing to say Dae-jung.” Foo teased. “I know a bit about relationships is all.” Dae-jung said.

Padma was feeling a lot of things, and all of them were good. She had no fear with Maui, only warmth and a growing sense of confidence and self-worth that she attributed almost entirely to him - though these powers helped. Whatever it was she was feeling for Maui, it was unlike anything she felt for anyone else, and she never wanted it to end. Robin snickered at Dae-Jung. "Ohoho, Casanova over here," she teased. Elvira looked a little disgruntled.

“Hmph hardly.” Dae-jung said, and that was all he said on the matter. Pretty soon things were dying down and Maui and Padma’s dance was over. “We....we should get back to the others now yeah?” Maui said.

How mysterious. Padma had become drowsy and was resting her head on Maui's shoulder as they slowly swayed. His voice made her stir and she raised her head up to look at him. "Mm... Yes," she agreed reluctantly, letting him go and rubbing the back of her neck. With her hijab styled differently, it was exposed now. "I, umm... Had a lot of fun."

“Yeah I had fun too. We should really do this again yeah? You are an amazing dance partner.” Maui said giving her the most sincere of grins. Oh man she was so cute. Maui wanted her all to himself. He wanted to ask her to be his but... it somehow didn’t seem right. At least not yet.

That grin just melted Padma's heart. "Anytime," she agreed, slipping her hand into Maui's and leading him back to the others. Was holding hands right? It was very naughty, but she knew what felt right and good with Maui, and that was all she wanted.

Maui certainly didnt mind as he held her hand firmly and they headed back to the others. They had just finished watching and were getting up themselves. “I dont sense anymore shards in the area. Perhaps its a good idea to rest for now eh?” Foo said, pretty full from the variety of foods they had been eating.

(Sure) After their fun night in Rio the group relaxed.a bit more until they decided to head to the next place to search for a shard. “Where we goin next Foo?” Maui asked. “I dont know the name but I can tell that its....hot.” Foo said. “Another hot place huh? I dont mind that none at all yeah?” Maui said with a smile.

Elvira grumbled angrily while Robin took off some layers in preparation for the heat. "We'll need to protect our skin," she said, getting sunscreen out of her seemingly bottomless rucksack and applying it to herself.

They all hopped onto Foo and then he opened up a portal and they took off once more. when they came out the other side of the portal they were hit with some intense heat. “Whoa you weren’t kiddin.” Maui said.

"Reminds me of home," Padma said, shielding her eyes from the glare of the sun. Elvira nearly vomited just from the sheer heat of the place, but she remembered what Dae-Jung had taught her as she enveloped herself in a cool shield. Maybe... "W-would anyone else like to cool down?" she asked the group. Maybe it would be good to be nice.

“Yes please.” Maui said. He liked a little heat, but this was way hotter than he was used to. Plus he didnt want Devi to get any kind of heat stroke so extending it over everyone would be really nice of her.

Devi was one of the ones used to heat, but even so they all wanted to be cooled. Elvira extended a pleasant blanket of cool over all of them.

“Thanks Elvira.” Maui said to her. “Thank you.” Dae-jung also said as Foo took them closer to a shard. “Stay sharp. I sense two pretty strong shard energies nearby. One could be hostile.” Foo cautioned them all. As if on cue they could hear thunderous sounds coming from the distance from a small village.

"Looks like it's time for action," Robin said. They all transformed into their suits as they neared the village where all the noise was coming from.

When they arrived they were greeted with an odd, but somewhat familiar site. There was a large Beast stampeding around the village, smashing houses and tearing up the street. Luckily it looked like the place had been evacuated and for some reason there were large holes through a lot of the buildings and even burn marks on the creature. It looked like someone or something was fighting it. “Look alive people, its go time!” Foo said to everyone.

"That looks like an elephant!" Devi yelped. "A deformed elephant," Robin agreed, as they all transformed into their magical outfits. "Let's make sure it doesn't come for us," said Robin, filling the whole area with a thick fog. "We should get a bird's eye view," Padma said to Maui, before using jets of water to shoot up into the air above the fog layer.

Maui agreed as he made steps using the wind and hopped up above the fog and was standing by Padma. When they looked down and saw the elephant, they could see the burn marks more clearly. Plus, even though it looked confused by the fog, it looked like it was searching for something. “What’s with those burn marks?” Maui said to Padma. “Lets sneak up and take it down by surprise.” Dae-jung said to Elvira as they went through the fog. Foo kept Devi to the side, just in case they needed her.

"I don't know," said Padma. "Another beast? Another shard user, perhaps?" Those burn marks looked a bit precise, too precise for another wild beast to make. How many more of them would they find? They were starting to get over-staffed. A team effort with Dae-Jung? Elvira... Could do that. "I will freeze its feet," she whispered to him, as she began to tiptoe over to the right.
