“Good idea!” Sunny said with a big smile on her face. “I see no problem with the pairings.” Dae-jung said. He did work well with Elvira and would have preferred being with her than any of the others. Maui also looked a bit shy but then smiled. “I dont mind. Is that ok padma?” Maui asked her, just to have confirmation.

“I shall stay and defend this base so everyone can return with no issues. Princess, I shall leave you to decide which pairing you accompany. The battle experience will be beneficial for you.” Fable said.

Sunny grinned. “Girl team. Yay!” Sunny said happily. “Well with that dealt with, I shall give you all a map to towns that have been taken over and you can depart at once.” Fable said.

Fable was staying at the village to keep it safe for them to return to. He would clean things up and secure the place in their absence.

Maui and Padma headed to a village situated near a very large lake. It seems the villagers were being targeted by aquatic type shadow creatures so the two of them seemed the best to deal with it.

Dae-jung and Elvira headed towards a place that was protected by a large wall surrounding the entire town. It seemed like the wall was keeping the shadows at bay, but they were losing the fight and needed assistance.

The girl gang headed towards a farming village in the west that was the source of a lot of the kingdoms food. The shadow creatures were attacking the food systematically and they needed to be stopped.

“It is very beautiful. Doesn’t it make you want to protect it so the fairies can play here again?” Maui said.They walked around the lake until they found the village. when they arrived the fairies there looked very....downtrodden. When they noticed the two of them they began to quickly scatter.

“Not sure. If not, we will find our own way in.” Dae-jung said. “Hello! We are here to help you fight the shadows! Allow us entry!” Dae-jung shouted to the gates. There was no response.

“Yeah.” Sunny said. She honestly didnt know how the people would react to her. They had no idea how common folks viewed the royalty or if the royalty were good to their people. Guess they would find out. As soon as they approached the village they saw something strange. It looked like a shadow creature but it was..helping the people farming.

“Yeah. I think that is a good idea.” Maui said. SPeaking of shadows, as they walked through the village they could see a very large one in the center. It looked like it was accosting one of the fairies. “There’s one now. Lets take it down and give these fairies some peace.” Maui said as he transformed and drew his arrow.

“Couldnt hurt to try. Plus...ugh I didnt want to climb.” Dae-jung admitted. But she was right. He just sucked it up as he transformed and they began to climb the wall.

“I not know? Maybe surprise hit?” Sunny said. Since it didnt notice them they could easily take it out, but this was weird. Why was it not attacking the fairy? Sunny looked to Fantasia to figure out what to do.

Maui aimed for the shadow creature from where they were. If he could hit it from a distance then neither of them would be in danger. He fired and hit the shadow creature straight on and it vanished. "got it!" He said excitedly. the fairy however did not look as excited. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?" It shouted at them. Very angrily.

"hmph. No need to climb in Seoul. What would I scale, a skyscraper?" dae-jung retorted back. he had a small grin on his face though as they looked over the wall. The city was a decent size, but it was entirely clad in darkness. Not a single light was on., other than the hundreds of patrols going around on the ground. It didnt look like they had any on the wall itself, except for a few watchtowers looking in all directions.

Right before she got too close, the villager got inbetween them. "Whoa there now, you might spook ol' Derk here if you get too...hey aint chu' th' princess?" The villager said before turning to the girls. "And dem's humans!"

“W-wait, isnt Foo subjugating you?” Maui said. “We have a deal goin on with Foo. He only comes and takes the resources we mine and then he leaves us alone. But now you just killed his messenger!” “Oh god now the shadows will descend upon us!” another fairy said. “D-dont worry yeah? We can take care of the shadows.” Maui said.

Dae-jung did not respond to her name calling, although it was rather...cute. “Im going to assume enemies. Lets quickly descend into the city before they catch us up here.” Dae- jung said.

“Oh him? yessir’ When dem’ shadows started attackin’ eryone’ fer’ some reason Derek and his kin’ came here and just became all docile an’ help us out.” The farmer said. “His kin? How many?” Sunny asked. “Oh er lets see.......der’s bout 50 of em all round the village hre’ “ The farmer said.

“Oh no, it would be much worse. They might send...Farrow.” One fairy said. “You idiots have killed us all!” Another said and then everyone began to to panic. “Please calm down! Let us handle this and help you.” Maui said, but it seemed his pleas were falling on deaf ears.

“Hey slowpoke. Took you long enough.” Dae-jung said. He had went first and already landed just a few seconds before she did. “Lets search around for info. Figure out what we need to do.” Dae-jung said.

Sunny sighed. “Candy air.” Sunny said with a smirk. This princess was a bit of an airhead. Sunny walked over and they got more info from the farmer while fantasia tried to pet the shadow. From what the could gather, there seemed to be some kind of rare gem in the center of town that no other place had. It was kind of suspicious. “Lets check.” Sunny said.

“Yeah....it looks like that’s what we’ll need to do yeah?” Maui said. He had to admit, he was excited to see Padma throw down. He wanted to see her new weapon and even more...her cool new outfit. “Lets prepare and wait for the shadows. You should transform and figure out your weapon before we go into battle yeah?” Maui said.

This was not proving fruitful. The fairies continuously avoided them, which meant they wouldnt be able to get any information. Dae-jung was about to suggest another idea, but then suddenly an alarm began to blare throughout the fortress. “A horde is approaching! Citizens stay in your homes! all solders to the southern wall!!” A voice said above everyone. “Hmmm, looks like we have our destination.” Dae-jung said.

As they went further into the town, they could see more and more shadows. It was kind of giving Sunny the heebeejeebees. “Not sure. This safe.” Sunny said to Robin as they walked by so many shadows helping and playing with the fairies.

Maui was enraptured by her transformation, and even more so by her...outfit. It looked amazing on her. Or at least the few seconds he saw before she told him to look away. He turned away from her, a smile inching across his face. “It.it looks good on you yeah? But I wont look if you dont want me to. Maybe we could talk with Fable to figure out a new outfit for you yeah?” Maui said, talking kind of face to distract himself.

Dae-jung hadnt summoned his weapon yet, but he would once they arrived. He wanted to show off since it would be his turn. They arrived at the south wall and there was just a rush of guards and alarms and panic. It was clear the fairies werent much for fighting as they seemed incredibly unorganized. Dae-jung and Elvira headed over the wall and landed on the other side to see a large number of shadows approaching. “My turn. Sit back and relax. This wont take long.” Dae-jung said as he punched his left fist into his right hand and made badass gloves appear.

They got to the center of the town and suddenly they both had a possible reason why this phenomenon was happening. There was a large gem in the middle of the village, and it didnt look that impressive. What was the issue was that the both of them could feel a familiar power emanating from the center of the gem. “Our shards.” Sunny said. Somehow the shards had integrated into the gem and were keeping the shadows docile. But whatever energy they were giving off was fading.

Maui looked and blushed then smiled. “Uh y-yea lets do it. Do you want to go first? Try to summon your weapon and then we will go attack.” Maui said. He summoned his bow and readied it just in case the shadows got too close.

The fairies were freaking out because some random humans appeared from nowhere and were about to take on the horde. They had no idea what to do so they sat back and watched. Dae-jung took a deep breath and then took a stance. Dae-jung was well versed in 3 separate martial arts. He was actually very good at picking up different athletic activities. He would be considered a prodigy to some, and it would not be exaggerated. What followed next could only be described as extraordinary. Dae-jung leapt forward and destroyed a shadow creature instantly with a single punch. His movements were so fluid as he defeated the shadow creatures one after the other, almost effortlessly. What Elvira had in power, Dae-jung had in technique. Pretty soon all the shadows were defeated and Dae-jung took a deep breath and let it out. Oooh man that felt so amazing.

“Mmmm...” sunny said as she looked around. The shadows were being so friendly with everyone. If they preemptively began killing them, the townsfolk would treat them as monsters, and even sunny would feel like a monster. “Maybe....ask princess?” Sunny suggested.

“Whoa...those look amazing yeah?” Maui said. Her weapons were so pristine. So...beautiful. They were perfect for Padma. “Looks like youll have a chance to use them yeah? we have company.” Maui said as a couple of shadow creatures began to approach them.

Once he was done Dae-jung walked over to Elvira, a little swag in his step. He made his gloves go away with a flourish as he walked up to her. “Well how was the show? I hope I was able to show off a bit there.” Dae-jung said.

Here’s hoping the princess could provide some help. “We have a problem Fantasia.” Sunny said as she explained their situation to her. “So...what should we do?” Sunny asked.
