That was not what Wolfie had planned. A few moments passed and even though she had her ears covered nothing could stop the sound that reached her. It was one of anguish from both Vulcan....and Wolfie. It last for a bit until a sonic boom reached even Atlas, almost knocking her away. What had happened?

Oh no, oh no it was in her brain. Wolfie probably didn't mean to but he projected his screeches of agony into her head too, deafening her both internally and externally. But she could only hear ringing when she was knocked back by the shock wave. Her hiding place caved in around her, and only by some incredible luck did Atlas avoid getting crushed by falling rubble. Dazed but determined, she scrambled up and out into the open air. "Wolfie? Can you hear me?" she called out, both in her head and outloud.

She didnt get a response. That was probably not a good sign. When she came out of her space she could see that the area had been completly devastated from whatever happened. Where could Wolfie be? The area stretched out so far.

With Wolfie not responding, Atlas knew what she had to do to find him, and fast. She took a few jumps, getting higher and higher each time until she remained airborne and then ascended upwards, getting the best view of the area. This way, she could easily navigate and spot Wolfie.

When she got up high, she could see how far the devastation had spread. Wolfie must have done something, because the spot she was at was hardly affected and it was incredibly close to the blast. She couldnt see wolfie, but she could see where Wolfie would have been. He had blocked the explosion towards Atlas and the town.

"Uhh..." Atlas mumbled as she looked around, landing in the spot that was clear. As soon as her foot touched the ground, a horrible shiver quivered up her spine and she smelt Wolfie's scent all around her. Those animal instinct of hers told her that Wolfie was here - or he had been. "Wolfie?" she whispered. In the silence of the aftermath, even that breathed tiny utterance sound deafening.

(called her wolfie again XD) It was quite for a moment, but then she could hear movement a little ways away from her. When she turned towards it it was...Vulcan. Or at least a human sized version of it. It began to stalk towards Atlas, but then out of the ground came a little wolf that clamped onto its throat and tore it off as they fell to the ground. "Humph, this time... stay dead." Wolfie said. When Atlas went over to him, Wolfie was...in horrible shape. Half of his body was burned, and he was missing one of his little wolf legs.

Atlas could have definitely handled a human-sized Vulcan but okay, Wolfie could just keep straining himself. "Wolfie!" Atlas chastised as she walked over to him and knelt down beside him. He really did look awful. "Are you okay?" she asked in a more gentle tone.

That was more rage towards vulcan rather than thinking she couldnt handle it. "I...am not....can you take me back....to Pluck?" Wolfie said, trying to stand but falling over.

No, he definitely thought she couldn't handle it. Atlas agreed wordlessly and gingerly picked up the injured little guy. She didn't want to jolt him around too much, so she managed to take off into the air on her first try and flew to where she had last seen Pluck.

She was wrong but it didnt matter, the most important thing was to get Wolfie to pluck. When she arrived at the castle, Pluck was inside, rummaging through things. "I gotta find somethin! Wolf might need help now that there are two..where did I put that thing?" He said, not noticing that Atlas was there with Wolfie.

"Did you miss the giant explosion where Wolfie destroyed it?" Atlas asked loudly as she floated into the room and up beside Pluck. She was surprised, the noise had been cosmic and the devastation cataclysmic. Surely Pluck had noticed some of that?

Pluck jumped in surprised when Atlas shouted at him. He quickly turned around, grabbing his chest. "You scared the blargnets out of me!! Explosion? what explosion? Ive been looking through my stuff to help Wolf fight Vulcan." Pluck said. "I kept...it from...affecting anything...other than the area...I was in..." Wolfie explained to her. "Wolf! Are you ok? Goodness, this is awful. What happened with Vulcan?" Pluck said.

"Could have fooled me," Atlas muttered, remembering that the destruction had been vast. "Vulcan was destroyed, I think," she told Pluck. "Wolfie destroyed its core." Again, she wasn't sure how, but Wolfie could discuss it with Pluck once he was better.

"thats good news, and from the looks of you I can sort of figure out how. But right now you need a healer." Pluck said. "Yes....can you get us....a ship? I have not properly....explained to Atlas how to traverse space." Wolfie told Pluck. "Of course of course. Atlas, you need to take Wolfie to a planet called Lamore. the people there are....odd, but they are known for healing just about any injury, even for eternals." Pluck explained to her.

"Uh, yeah, 'course," said Atlas, only half focusing as she gently cuddled Wolfie in her arms. She was in a daze as Pluck fetched her a ship - it was, oddly, perfectly sized for her despite Pluck being so tall. It was only when she sat down in the pilot's seat that she realised something. "Hey, Wolfie... You know I can't fly a spaceship either, right?"

"Auto...pilot.." Wolfie told her, pointing his intact paw to a button. "ah yes of course, I set the pod to take you to the planet. You may have to land, but Wolf can talk you through it....be careful. Lamore isnt the most dangerous place, but it can be odd and confusing and..." Pluck was saying. "We will be...fine Pluck...do not...worry." Wolfie said to him. "y-yes of course. Take care Wolf. You too Atlas." Pluck said to her as he closed the pod and it activated.

Atlas waved goodbye to Pluck, then held onto the armrests tightly as the ship shook violently, flying through the atmosphere. It didn't feel safe. She was totally fine flying into space with Wolfie, but this ship didn't have the same power and it juddered about. Once they'd cleared the atmosphere and the ship made its own course, Atlas relaxed and turned to Wolfie. "You gonna tell me about this planet before we get there?" she asked.

Wolfie had curled up and was glowing, if not faintly. "I...apologize....let me....rest..." Wolfie said to her. It seemed he was conserving his energy so he could be more helpful once they reached the planet.

Atlas frowned slightly and sighed, sitting back in her seat to watch the cosmos flying comparatively slowly passed them. She waited... And waited... And waited. She was starving hungry, but there was no food on this ship. There were also no beds, as it was a basic pod, so she had to sit awkwardly in her seat and eventually drifted off with her legs over one arm rest and her head hanging upside down over the other.

When she woke up she could see that their pod had already landed on the planet. Not only that...they were headed deep underwater . Also, looking at Wolfie, his luminescence had dimmed considerably.

Atlas groaned and rubbed her sore neck when she woke up, looking through the window. "Ooh," she cooed in wonder at the darkening ocean around them. What a weird and wonderful place. She turned to Wolfie and saw how dim he was. "We're almost there," she murmured, ever so gently lifting him out of the other seat he was curled up in and tenderly put him in her lap. She probably should have done this from the start but he needed his space.

They went deeper and deeper underwater, until they could see no light whatsoever. They sat there for a while, until Atlas could see light coming towards the pod. When it got closer she could see it was some kind of alien . It looked very interested in them and then swam off. Then a bunch of the aliens appeared and attempted to open the pod. Atlas could hear it creak and groan as water trickled in from different places.

It felt like Atlas shared a mesmeric look with the alien who approached them, but then it was gone along with the strange sense of quiet she got from descending into the deep. "Uh oh!" she said, getting to her feet and going towards the nearest bulkhead. "Hey, stop!" she shouted through. "You're gonna drown us!" Wolfie was still held protectively in her arms.

The aliens looked at each other, but they clearly they didnt understand what she said as they started prying apart the pod even more. "Atlas...dont....panic....use your...aura...." Wolfie said, waking up from the commotion as they were starting to get more and more flooded.
