Beyond Space & Time

Atlas cringed a little, and then giggled. "Um, yeah, this is fine," she agreed. How close was he to her? She couldn't feel his skin but she could feel his heat. His body always burned like the sun, always protecting her and shielding her from the cold darkness of their journeys. She didn't know what to say to him so she closed her eyes and enjoyed the feeling of the water and his presence.

"Um, yeah," Atlas agreed again. Ugh, this was so awkward... She was a little worried that their relationship had been irreparably changed for the worst because of their confessions, so she tried to bring things back to normal. "I can't believe you let a gross worm like Zanatos beat you so badly," she teased him. "He wasn't even that cosmic."

Ahh, it was just like Wolfie to take a joke too seriously. Atlas closed her eyes and smiled. "Mm, yeah?"

Ahh, so they were serious talking now. Atlas opened her eyes and looked up at the sky. It had a lilac tint to it that she hadn't noticed before, it was really pretty. "If you're not strong enough, how are you gonna get your power back to be strong enough?"

Wow, hearing Wolfie say he didn't know what to do. That was super unnerving. Atlas got the feeling he needed comforting, so she leaned back a bit and let their bare backs touch. Oh god, how did he have so many muscles in just one small section of back. "It's fine," she murmured. "I'll be there to help you... Always."

Heh, of course Wolfie wasn't at all phased about the feeling of her skin on his - unlike Atlas who had reverted to a nervous teen. It wasn't like she'd never felt someone else's skin on hers before, nor specifically a man's skin. "Yeah," she agreed quietly, leaning her head back onto his shoulder.

A loved one... Surely Wolfie could hear her heart pounding, if not he could definitely feel it through his back. "'Before'~?" Atlas asked, teasing him. She felt like making him go into detail.

"Hmm, I'm not suuure~," Atlas said teasingly. "I've slept a lot since then, and I can't remember what was real, and what was a dream. Could you remind me please~?"

Ooh, the way he said that, the words he used and the deep earnest tone in his voice... It made her whole body shiver with ecstasy. She couldn't help it. He didn't felt that. Atlas then turned her head slightly towards Wolfie. "And do you remember what I said in return?" she whispered.

Aha, of course. Atlas giggled and turned her head even more so that she was speaking directly into his wolfy ear. "I love you too," she whispered. "I always have. First like an idol, then like a mentor, then like a father, then for a weird few days like a big brother. And now, I love you as a man... Fenris."

Atlas leant off of his shoulder and moved away slightly so that he could see her, looking over her bare shoulder, with her hands elegantly draped over her breasts even though they were beneath the surface. Her smile was coy and flirty. "I love you, Fenris," she purred.

Atlas grinned. "You're so greedy, Fenris," she continued teasing. "Don't wanna wear your name out so soon." Oh but she would never get tired of saying his name. She would call him Wolfie in public, but in years to come when the two were alone together, she would use his real name like a love poem to him.
