Atlas was ignoring Zanatos as she focused her energy on trying to heal Wolfie. "Come back to me, Wolfie," she cooed, as they both glowed with warm mauve light. "There's still a lot we have left to see, you know?"

“YOU DARE IGNORE ME? ZANATOS THE SUPREME AND ALMIGHTY BEING? I SHALL DELIVER JUSTICE UPON YOU FORTHWITH!” Zanatos said, as with the last of its power, threw a massive amount of energy at the both of them. Wolfie regained his consciousness very abruptly as he felt the energy coming towards them. “No!” He shouted at Zanatos as he covered himself in energy and bashed the energy, sending it flying back and hitting Zanatos, decimating him with his own power. The whole front side of Wolfies body was burned from the energy as he floated back into Atlas’s arms. “I wont....let...you hurt...her...” He said, to Zanatos obviously, but he said it to Atlas.

Atlas pouted. "You dope," she mumbled. "I could've protected you from that." But the way he said that, the way he looked at her... It was so primal.

“I....know...you’re...so strong....I just..couldnt stop...myself...” Wolfie said. His pulse was weak, and his usual glow was incredibly faint. He didnt look like he was going to make it.

Atlas suddenly felt afraid and panicky. "H-hey. Where d'you think you're going?" she asked, putting her hands on his face and gently patting his cheeks. "You can't go now. Not because of some loser like that. You can't leave me."

Wolfie tried to keep his eyes open but it wasn’t working. “Im...sorry...i feel myself... fading...are...you hurt...?” He asked her.

Atlas shook her head fervently, but whether she was answering his question or just panicking was unclear. "D-don't leave me," she whimpered, hugging him now with tears springing up uncontrollably in her eyes. She had never felt real fear in her life, but she was absolutely terrified now. There was no way she would survive losing the only constant in her life. "I can't live without you... F-Fenris."

Fenris....his true name. He had not heard it in so long. Hearing her say it was so...comforting. “I...Im sorry I never....told you but....you are...the most precious thing...to me...in this galaxy....I love you more than...anything else.....atlas... Im sorry I couldnt...say it sooner...” Fenris told her as he held her hand weakly.

Atllas' lip wobbled. To think that Wolfie would say something so life changing, so devastating, right at the end of things. It made Atlas' own heart open like a flower and reveal the feelings she knew she'd had all along. "Th-that's... Nothing," she murmured, squeezing his hand back in kind. "Because I lo... Love you more than anything else... In the whole multiverse... I always have."

Fenris smiled weakly as he held her hand. “Heh...guess...wer’e both...silly for...not saying...it before....I am sorry....” wolfie said. His grip was getting weaker and his eyes were starting to close. He kept trying but he felt himself fading.

"No," Atlas kept whimpering and whining, holding onto Wolfie for dear life as they drifted through dead space. "No, no, no!" She tried with all her might to put all of her healing powers into him, forcing him to hold onto life, but was it enough?

It didnt seem like her normal healing was working. If she wanted to save him she would have to dig down deep and find the power necessary to do so, otherwise, wolfie would be gone forever.

Atlas just cried and wept, holding him as his body went cold. Wolfie could see something through the darkness of his fading mortality. It looked like Atlas, but with longer hair and human ears. Could it be Yve?

Heh was she there to bring him to the other world? He had not expected that. Looks like he would have to apologize for leaving Atlas alone and breaking his promise. He felt bad but what could he do? Even though...he wasnt ready. He wanted to stay longer with her.

The ghostly figure of Yve folded her arms and tilted her head to the side. Wolfie was floating closer to her, not by any mechanism of his own. "Where do you think you're going?" Yve asked. It was probably still unusual for him to hear her say so much.

Yve scowled. "You're breaking your promise," she reminded him. As he floated closer, she side stepped and got in his way, stopping him from floating off into the ether of death.

"It's unlike you to sound so weak," Yve scolded Wolfie. He was pushing her back slightly now so she put her hands on his shoulders and held him back. "If you're going to be this pathetic, you're not worthy of my daughter."

wolfie frowned at that. “I may be a lot of things but I am not weak or pathetic. Hmph if death means listening to you insult me then Id much rather go back. I will keep my promise Yve and I shall keep it forever.” WOlfie said, feeling a bit energized.

Yve slowly smiled. "Good," she purred. "I wasn't here to send you back, by the way. I was only here to keep you from leaving. My daughter needs a little time to warm up. Oh!" The darkness around them both pulsed with warmth and light, and they heard Atlas crying. "That's my girl," cooed Yve, leaning back against Asura who had appeared behind her, as had all of their children. Wolfie was starting to float back away from them now.

Hmph. He didnt think hed be happy to see the big lion man again. “Ill tell her you all said hey.” wolfie said to them as he waved and closed his eyes, letting the warmth and light envelop him and bring him back. Everything was really bright but then he came to and opened his eyes to see atlas holding him in his arms and crying. “Why so sad?” wolfie said as he moved his hand up and touched her face.

"We'll see you both again," Yve said, slightly ominously, as Wolfie faded away. As light filled his vision, he could see the outlines of all the people he'd lost over the years, including the briefest glimpse of Zilla, before he was back into the world of the living. His first view was a face full of mauve hair, as Atlas had buried her face into his chest. She wasn't holding onto him very tightly, probably because she'd just used an intense amount of energy bringing him back from death. She looked up at him sleepily, her face crumpled and red from crying. "Am I... Hallucinating?" she mumbled. "It's only been... Like a week..."

“A week? My goodness...” wolfie said as he slowly tried to get up but was unable to. Seems his life had returned but not his energy. “You arent seeing things...you brought me back. I saw your family. they say hello.” Wolfie said to atlas.

"You're... Nutty," Atlas mumbled, putting her head back down onto his chest. They were still floating in the middle of space, amongst the rubble of the destruction caused by Wolfie and Zanatos' fight. "But... Warm... That's nice..." Atlas' teeth were chattering, she'd been hanging onto his cold body in the middle of space for too long.
