Beyond Space & Time

"I can't smell any," said Atlas. "There aren't any nearby. Let's go." The people they'd met had a dusty but clean smell, whereas all she could smell was cold metal and sea water.

Atlas was appreciative that Wolfie didn't hurt the poacher. They came across another on their search, and this time Atlas knocked him out with a quick punch to the back of the neck. She glanced at Wolfie quickly to see if he acknowledged it... They found the prisoners and Atlas looked around cautiously. "Is it safe to go in there?" she whispered to Wolfie.

Atlas gulped and nodded. "Mhm. I-I know. I'm ready." She wasn't, she didn't think she'd ever be ready for situations like this, because the universe might never numb her to shock and awe. She tiptoed around the corner into the holding area.

Atlas bit her lip to hold back the vomit. The universe was full of wonder and horror in equal measure, she knew it. She was just not used to seeing the horror as of yet. Would she ever be? She thought of her feet, and took off the loose pants she was wearing under her robe to reveal more leg. There were splits up the side that went all the way up to her waist, which revealed a lot with no pants. The plan was not to get shot by the guards outright, so she had to intrigue rather than antagonise them. Taking a deep breath, Atlas sauntered out into view. "Help me?" she mumbled. "I'm lost."

Atlas didn't know how to do sultry, despite how she'd aged and developed, but she figured monsters like this would prefer something a bit sweeter than sensual. She murmured and put the tip of her finger on her lip as if she was thinking, fluttering her lashes at the guards. "I-I should go," she whimpered, slowly backing away from them.

Atlas held her wrist as limply as possible and flattened her ears down submissively. She wanted to knock him out now but the other guard was still pointing a gun at her, just out of reach. Even if she could dodge the bullet, the sound of a gunshot would draw attention to them. "I should go," she said a bit more loudly, pulling away from the guard right beside her.

[Surely it would make more sense if Atlas is struggling for the other guard to help out but okay.]
Atlas sighed, not looking forward to what was to come. She easily freed her wrist from the one who was holding her, took hold of both of the backs of their heads, and smacked them together to knock them out. For what she had planned, she needed to get these two out of the room, so she lightly dragged both of them out and shut the door behind them before returning to the cage with her pants back on.

Atlas went over to the door and simply pulled it open, buckling the locks with some surprising strength for her soft, feminine body. "Don't be afraid," she murmured quietly. "I'm here to help. Are you able to move? Are there any more of you?" She didn't realise it, but her body was emitting a warm, comforting glow just like Aurora's had done at all times.

"The sky?" Atlas murmured, going to sit down next to the one who had addressed her. Did they mean that literally, that they were shipped off to some place off planet? Or did they mean it figuratively, in that they had died?

Atlas looked saddened. Potentially, these people here confined in this ship were some of the lucky ones. Her face hardened with determination to help these desperate people."Are you all able to swim?" she asked them all.

"This is a boat, right?" Atlas said, getting up and walking outside of the cage. "If we keep going down, we'll hit water." She reached down and, with a lot of effort that the natives couldn't see, opened up the floor with her bare hands. Below them was some kind of engine room. Atlas hopped down, made sure the coast was clear, and then did the same. The metal was really thick and she had to put it more effort, but as soon as there was a hole, water started to flood in. "Quickly!" she called up to the natives as she widened the hole. As soon as the water had started to come in, an alarm started to wail.

When some poachers entered the engine room, Atlas was lit by the light of a huge fire that was burning and powering in the ship. The orangey darkness almost made her look menacing. She looked at the poachers coldly. "Better abandon ship," she said, as the hole widened and more water flooded in, swallowing her whole.

"Yeah," Atlas responded to Wolfie, though she was focused on the ship as it began to list and sink. She hoped no one was in there still, and she also didn't want it to sink and squishy anyone below. "There are more people who've been taken up into space, they told me."
