Beyond Space & Time

"You did indeed look awesome. You are strong. I wanted you to do this to boost your confidence. Be proud of your strength." Wolfie whispered to her as he patted her shoulder. "Zadia barely broke a sweat! seems we might need to increase the difficulty on the next round! There's 2 more to go!! Will the next round prove too difficult for our challengers?!" The champion said as more doors opened. This time a large muscular armored man came out, flexing his muscles. "And now we have Artemis!! He boasts as having the most strength of all the gladiators!! Can Zadia and the unknown knight compete?" The champ said as the crowd roared. "I CHALLENGE THE KNIGHT! LET ME TEST HIS MIGHT AND SHOW HIM A SIGHT THAT WILL CERTAINLY GIVE HIM A FRIGHT!!" Artemis said as the crowd roared again. "What a joker." Wolfie said to Atlas as he stepped forward.

Well that would rely entirely on this gentleman. Wolfie stepped up to Artemis and artemis flexed again. "Hows about we settle this with punches only? I punch you, you punch me. The last one standing will be victorious!" Artemis said. Wolfie simply nodded and gestured for him to go first. "Oh? Cocky eh? Very well!! With this punch I shall show. That you can not match my blow!" Artemis said as he cracked his knuckles and readied a punch. He readied his fist and delivered a very powerful punch that sent Wolfie back a couple of feet and even caused a bit of a shock. Everyone was surprised by its strength, but even more surprised that Wolfie was still standing. "heh, not bad taking one of my hits. Alright im a man of my word. Take your best shot." Artemis said as he readied himself. Wolfie was unsure how hard to hit this fellow. He walked up to him and pretended he was readying a strong punch. He hit Artemis straight in the chest and Artemis was sent flying. "damnit." Wolfie said. He thought that was pretty weak. He was no good at these things. The crowd roared in applause and awe!!

There were not many times when Wolfie had to pretend to be weak so he was not very good at it. The only time he could control his power was when he was in a smaller form. He went back to Atlas and the crowd cheered again. "These two are just clearing the gauntlet!! Their power is amazing!! But can they finish this next round so easily? This time they will be up against Zoua and Zully, the fastest and possibly the toughest of all my champions!! Will they be able to take them on? Their teamwork is unmatched! Lets bring them out!" The champion said as a door opened and a pair of tall and very sleek armored creatures came out. They zipped out quickly and looked at the two of them, eager to start. "Looks like its time for our teamwork." Wolfie whispered to Atlas.

Wolfie was glad she was so hyped. It meant their team work would be very good. "If they are speed types, I shall keep them in place, and you deliver the final blow. So long as you dont hit any vitals they will be fine." Wolfie said as he readied his sword. the twins took that as a sign and they both shot off in opposite directions around the arena. "Oh here it is the twins are starting off with the electric tornado! Will the challengers be able to counter their high speeds?" The champion said. Wolfie could track them easily, and he was sure that if she focused, atlas would as well.

wolfie smirked under his helmet and nodded. He could see exactly where he needed to strike. He waited for his moment and then dashed forward and tripped one of the twins and made them fall. He would leave that one to Atlas, as he charged towards the other one who was now trying to run away.

The crowd was amazed by how high Atlas leapt as she came down and knocked out the speedster. Wolfie had also taken care of the other one and the crowd cheered again. "BRING FORTH YOUR CHAMPION!' wolfie shouted in a gruff voice. He was supposed to say that to get the crowd going and make sure that the grand wizard and the champion didnt try to chicken out. The crowd started chanting for the champion and it was quiet for a minute but then her voice came back. "Conrats challengers! You have bested the gauntlet and now it is the moment everyone has waited for! The champion and special appearance by none other than the grand wizard himself! We shall face these challengers head on!" The champion said.

He was glad she was excited, but this was where she needed to keep her guard up. Chances were that the champ would want to take her on one on one, and Wolfie would deal with the grand wizard. Or vice versa. They would certainly be stronger than those they fought, although he was sure it wouldnt be too difficult. doors opened up and two massive individuals came from the doors. One was clearly the champion , based on her sword and gun, while the other had a magic tome, so he was certainly the grand wizard. "A two on two battle! this will truly be an epic experience!! As the champion, I choose to fight against Zadia's champion!! The grand wizard will fight Zadia herself!!" The champion declared.

Wolfie joined beside Atlas before they split off. "It is alright. Just focus. He is a trickster. remember what Zadia told us. You can do it." Wolfie whispered to her before he stepped forward to face the champion. The grand wizard moved in front of Atlas. He was very large, and his gun and tome looked intimidating. "Zadia, we shall settle this once and for all." The grand wizard said.

The fight started and the champion had rushed Wolfie, taking him away from Atlas. The grand wizard commenced his attack as he opened his tome and began to read a spell. It was quick, and when he finished, the grand wizard had split himself into 4 different versions of himself. Each had a different color, as they surrounded her and began chanting more spells. One looked like lightning, one like fire, one like ice, and one like water.

Just like he advertised, the grand wizard shot all 4 shots of different elements directly at Atlas. He had not fought Zadia before, but he heard her magic was able to counter magic but only one at a time. He would test that theory now.

To the grand wizards surprise, Atlas’ move ended up countering all of his attacks and sending them back at his respective clones. 2 managed to dodge, but the others were poofed. The only ones left were the water and fire ones and they were keeping their distance, thinking up a way to beat her with her counter moves.

The grand wizard cursed as he began to chant a new spell. The water version turned some water into a whip while the flame one turned some fire into an axe. They got closer to her as the water one threw the whip at her and the flame one came at her with the axe.

The grand wizard was sent flying backwards. The water vanished and the fire grand wizard returned to his original color. “Whoa truly astounding!! Zadia has managed to counter the grand wizard at every turn! And things aren’t looking good for the champion either! The next attack could decide it all!” an announcer said as the crowd cheered.
