“Ok....Ill fly us back so on our way perhaps you should rest.” Wolfie said noticing the bags she had under her eyes.

"I-I'm feeling a little on edge," Atlas admitted, as they finished and tidied up. But as soon as she was in Wolfie's arms again, she was out like a light with her head resting on his shoulder, snoring and drooling slightly. Even though she felt like things weren't resolved, even though she'd lain with a lover recently, there was never anywhere she felt more comfortable than in his arms.

Wolfie felt somewhat the same. He had actually felt lost without her and although he was angry at first he was also overwhelmingly elated when he was finally able to find her. He needed her, he could admit that to himself now. But he had to do better, otherwise he may actually drive her off for real. He contemplated how to do better as they returned back to the Milky Way.

Atlas slept soundly for the half day it took them to return to the Milky Way, and woke up just as they were re-entering her home galaxy. She mumbled and rubbed her eyes, and blinked sleepily up at Wolfie. It was always the nicest when she woke up and he was still there. "Hi," she said warmly, smiling.

"Hello, Im glad to see you are awake. You're just in time to see the whale ." Wolfie said as far off in the distance Atlas could see a Whale the size of several planets listlessly floating through space.

Atlas squealed loudly and clung onto Wolfie tightly. "Oh my god!" she wheezed excitedly. "Ohmygodohmygodohmygod! Wolfie it's amazing! What is it? Does it know we're here? Can we be its friend?! I reeeaaally wanna be its friend!"

He figured she would react this way. “It’s a cosmic being that has taken the form of a whale. Nobody really knows where it came from or why it decided on this form, and most just leave it be. Im sure if we go and try to speak with it it would have no problem with beings friends. Dont expect much conversation though.”

"Hehe, that's okay, let's go!" Atlas whooped with excitement and leapt out of Wolfie's arm. She had a strong grip on Wolfie's hand as she sped forward towards the gigantic whale. She didn't notice that as she flew, a trail of lilac sparkling light was left behind her.

WOlfie noticed and simply smirked as they went up to the massive whale. “If you wish to speak with it, you must stretch your power towards it and let it connect.” Wolfie explained to her. He helped her find the energy she needed to stretch and left it for her to guide.

But he didn't need to help her much. Atlas reached out her power and gently poked the whale on the nose.

The whale made a very deep, guttural noise as Atlas could feel hers and Wolfie’s energy swirl with the cosmic whales as they were taken to a strange plane of existence where there was nothing but swirling galaxies all around them, yet it felt like they could stand on some kind of solid floor. “Welcome stranger.” An etheral voice said to them from all different directions.

Atlas tingled from her ears to her tail tip and wriggled about a bit, giggling. Ooh that felt funny. And it was beautiful in here. "Hi!" she chirped into the cavernous cosmos, keeping hold of Wolfie's hand even though he seemed able to stand and she was just floating about. "I'm Atlas, this is Wolfie. Who are you?"

"Ooh~," cooed Atlas, looking back at Wolfie and grinning. "That's real cool, Mr Always. So whatcha doing, you just hanging out or you going somewhere nice? Like a holiday or something?"

She named it mr always? That was..kind of adorable. “Hmmm Im not going anywhere in particular. Just going. as I always have. I do not understand this holiday word you spoke of.” The voice said.

"Oh holidays are great!" Atlas crossed her legs in a seated position even though she was floating, and let go of Wolfie so that she could flap her hands abort emphatically. He didn't seem to mind that she was talking with someone else. "It's where you leave the place that you live normally and go somewhere nicer to relax or explore! Though I guess you don't live anywhere so. Maybe you could go somewhere you've never been. Oh! But also holidays are like special celebrations. On the planet where I'm from, Earth, we have tons of those kinds of holidays! My favourite was Christmas, my whole family and all our friends would gather around and eat lots, and give each other gifts, and play games, and there were lots of lights and sparkles. It was awesome!"

Wolfie didnt mind, in fact he sat down himself and just listened to Atlas. As atlas was talking something was slowly gathering all around the both of them, listening, thinking about all the things she was saying. after all, this was the first time anyone had really spoken with this cosmic entity before, especially so casually. It was interested and intruded by this being. “Earth. I do not think I have been there before.” The entity said.

"It's real nice," Atlas said, and then she went into a long, looooong spiel about Earth. In honesty, she didn't really feel like going back there because things would be so different after nearly 400 years. Her family's descendants would have no idea who she was. "So that's why you shouldn't let the water boil all the way when you make tea," she rambled on. "Oh, but look at me spoiling it all for you. You should just go there and discover it for yourself!"

“Hmmm I see. You have certainly piqued my interest. Perhaps I shall go visit for myself.” The voice said as the swirling energy that continued flowing all around them began to Form something right in front of Atlas. It touched down and had a similar humanoid form now, inspired by the first beings to speak with it. “I have gained an interest in this Earth. and it is thanks to you. I’d be honored if you would bestow upon me a name.” The being said to atlas.

Atlas' eyes sparkled. Mr Always was a Miss Always! Or at least had taken on the appearance of a Miss. "Someone as awesome as you should get to name themselves," she said, standing up midair to stand on level, or slightly below, this cosmic being.

“atlas you should give them a name. It is a very great honor when a celestial being asks for someone to name them. It means they shall acknowledge you wherever they go.” Wolfie explained to Atlas as he also got up. “Wolfie is correct. I would be very pleased if you could give me a name.” The being said with a small smile.

“All ways. Thank you. I shall carry this name with me....always.” All ways said with a smile. “Farewell. I think I shall make my way to earth now. I am most curious about this tea you kept mentioning.” All ways said as she floated higher above them into the air.

"I hope you have fun," said Atlas with a smile. Before Always could depart into the cosmos, she zipped over to it and gave it a nice hug. "Where I'm from, we give our friends hugs," she explained, nuzzling it a bit before letting go and waving goodbye.
