“Sure. Let us go together.” Wolfie said as he grabbed her hand gently. Wolfie had to admit he was enjoying this more than he thought he would, so he would go along with whatever Atlas wanted to do. The mantas sat on their shoulders and head, excited to go down with them.

”Let’s go!” Atlas whooped, not giving wolfie a chance to back out as she ran forward and leapt over the edge with wolfie’s hand in hers. They were only falling for three seconds before they hit the warm water. Atlas released wolfie’s hand to swim to the surface again and gasp for air. “Woo!” Her curly hair was plastered to her head, making her ears look much bigger than usual.

Wolfie popped out of the water looking like a god as he swished his hair back and forth. He pushed his hair back out of his face as he looked over at Atlas. She was...quite adorable. “That was enjoyable.” He said to her.

Wow, wolfie looked so awesome! A tiny part of atlas’ mind thought he looked super hot when he did that, but the majority of atlas’ perception of him was that he was a mentor and father figure. Therefore hot didn’t come into it. She grinned at him and shook her head too, looking like a dog shaking itself off. “Let’s do that again!” She cheered, swimming over to the edge and clambering out. She wanted the thrill again and would go exploring more in detail after she’d tired out a bit.

“Perhaps we could venture towards one of the higher ones now.” Wolfie suggested as he pointed to the next level. The mountain of waterfalls was huge so they had a bunch of levels to go through.

”Duh!” teased atlas with a grin. She shook herself off a bit more and then ran into the woods. Wolfie and the mantas would have to chase her for this part!

Wolfie quickly followed after her and the mantas laughed excitedly as they also followed. They played around on the waterfalls for a long long time, trying all the different kinds the place offered. Soon the little mantas were looking exhausted and it was getting dark. “I think its time we head to the hot springs.” Wolfie informed atlas.

”Hmm?” Atlas murmured, looking back over her shoulder at wolfie. She looked sleepy after all the excitement, and was standing directly beneath one of the falls, letting the water plummet over her. “Yeah, that’d be nice,” she murmured, swimming over to him and taking his hand to walk out of the water with him. She’d been holding his hand all day to jump over the water with him that she thought nothing of it now.

Wolfie took her hand just as naturally as they walked out of the water and headed to the springs. “Im assuming you wish to wear towels still during the hot springs correct?” WOlfie said. He remembered that she still had a problem with nudity so he was showing her that he was being considerate as they headed to the highest part of the mountain. At the top they could see pools of hot spring water spread around, while they could overlook the scenery.

”I guess,” said atlas with a shrug. “Or I’ll just keep this on. It’s so cute, I don’t ever wanna... Take it off.” She paused to take a huge yawn.

“That is just fine.” WOlfie told her. He took her to the nearest one and they slowly got in. It felt really hot but very good on the body. It also felt a little revitalizing and tingly, as the mantas jumped off both wolfie and atlas and started floating in the water, swirling colors all around.

”Hmm... What’s with the colours?” asked Atlas, swishing her hand through a teal trail made by the nearest manta. This heat was so invigorating, it hurt at first but then it set into her bones and she felt such a deep relaxation.

“Thats from the manta. Their skin produces an oil that makes the hot springs invigorate and revitalize the body and also changes the color of the water. The more you befriend the better your experience.” Wolfie said as he changed from his wetsuit to a simple swimsuit and sat down in the water.

Atlas didn’t know wolfie had that on underneath and giggled. “So I guess we made good friends?” Asked atlas, scooping up one of the closest mantas and cuddling it.

“Indeed. They are generally hard to entertain. Ive been here multiple times so they’ve grown attached to me. But they took to you quickly.” Wolfie said as he leaned back and closed his eyes.

”I’m glad...Seems to be... A common thing,” atlas mumbled, getting less and less coherent as she leaned her head onto the side of the hot spring and fell asleep, snoring very softly.

Wolfie was going to ask her what she meant but then he saw her fall asleep. "heh." Wolfie said softly as he moved over to her. He leaned her on him just so he could make sure she wouldnt slide underneath the water as he stared out at the night sky. The next morning, Atlas found herself sleeping on a pile of very soft leaves with a bunch of the little mantas.

Atlas had dreamed that night that she had been sleeping in the midst of a colossal cosmic creature. It’s proportions were the same as the beast that had fought wolfie and nearly broke her mind, but she was not frightened of this one. It was breathtakingly large, but soft and furry all over. She felt safe, tucked within its embrace, under a star filled cosmos. She awoke and was almost disappointed that she was instead embracing one of the small mantas. But it was tiny and cute, and its size comprehensible so she was only saddened for a moment before she cuddled it closer.

The manta giggled as she was woken up with a cuddle. The other mantas were beginning to wake up now as well. Wolfie was of course not sleeping among them. He didnt often sleep at night.

Wolfie was also not anywhere nearby. “Morning everyone,” atlas said to them all, cuddling them all individually. She’d been lying with her head on one of their bellies so she paid extra attention to the one who’d been her pillow. “Hey, do you know where my friend is?” She asked them.

They all began to yawn and stretch as they woke up. One of them flew up beside her and pointed her outside. Seems they were in a cave somewhere inside of the mountain.

”Thank you, cutie,” said atlas, kissing her cheek. Ugh, it was so warm and nice here. Atlas wanted to stay a long time or at least visit often, but she felt that way about a lot of places. She got to her feet, stretched from her head to her tail tip, shook off, and then made her way out of the cave.

When she exited, she would have almost fallen off the ledge if she had not been careful. They were at the very top, and only a tiny ledge was there for her to traverse. Or she could fly. Anyway, Wolfie was still nowhere to be seen so the manta kept leading her, showing her a path down.

”Whoa, spooky,” said atlas, looking all the way down to the bottom. She could fly, but she enjoyed walking so she did that, following the manta down the narrow path.

They went down the path and found Wolfie meditating with his shirt off in the middle of a pool. He was floating above the water his aura surrounding him beautifully and shimmering off the reflection of the water.
