The thing inside her body? Well it wasn't in her right now but it mostly went in- oh. Oh she must have been talking about the device that sent bolts of electricity shooting through her body if she displeased Victor. If she made him press the button. ZX12 could have told Jenny much sooner if she hadn't been so odd about it. ZX12 took the fake bite and pretended to writhe in pain. She was trying to swat at Jenny with her tail, but kept missing and smacking the nape of her neck instead.

Jenny could hear a sharp inhale and felt ZX12 digging her own claws into Jenny's back. She wasn't trying to stop her or hurt her in return - she was holding onto Jenny, clinging to her for dear life. Jenny would have to be a bit careful, because the device was obviously drilled into her spine. Mary was nearly at the gun too. She managed to put her foot on it and then reached down to snatch it up.

ZX12 had gone limp against Jenny when she pulled out the device, and she still clung to her when Victor shouldered her away. Ugh, that pain had really taken it out of her, she was trembling slightly as she looked at Jenny with the doughy eyes she'd been giving Victor before. Except this time it was genuine adoration in them. Meanwhile Mary had the gun in her hands, and she turned around to point it at Victor. "Don't move!" she snapped.

Mary glanced down at Jenny and saw that she had something in her bloodied hand, and also blood dribbling down ZX12's back. It seemed like the device had been removed and Victor hadn't seen that. ZX12 turned her head slowly to look up at Victor and fixed him with a death glare. "Oh, I think Jenny's alright," Mary said to Victor.

ZX12 was still glaring at Victor as she stood up, pulling Jenny up with her and still cuddling onto her. "You don't have power over her anymore, Victor," Mary said. "So we're going now - me, Jenny, and the girl if she wants to." She looked at ZX12 when she said this, but the girl was fixated on Victor.

Mary stepped around Victor and went to stand next to the two girls, keeping the gun pointed at Victor. "We need to get out of here quickly before we're discovered," she said to them both. "They might already know we escaped the prison so I have no idea how much time we have... So make it quick," she added, glancing at ZX12. "We'll wait for you." ZX12 also glanced at Mary knowingly and softened up for a brief second. This woman was kind, it made sense with Jenny being the way she was too. Mary took hold of Jenny's shoulder and led her away from ZX12.

Mary shut the door behind them and then walked Jenny along the hallway slightly. "Honey?" she said to her daughter, pulling her close and looking in her eyes. "You know how you must never, ever hurt anyone?"

Mary gripped Jenny's shoulders tighter. "That's not what I'm saying," she said, stroking Jenny's cheek. "You did so well, darling, you did perfectly. What I'm saying is... Sometimes people get hurt, and it stays with them for a long time. And the only way they can let go of the pain is to remove the source of it. I don't condone you to ever do this, but... That girl in there has been so hurt, we can't even begin to understand what she's been through. So when she comes out of that room, you and I have to help her get better and to... Not mind whatever it is she's doing in there right now." The door was soundproofed so they couldn't hear anything.

They waited outside the door for about twenty minutes before a group of guards came running past and they had to hide. They then returned and waited another twenty minutes until the door opened. ZX12 walked out slowly... And she was covered in blood. Mostly on her hands, the end of her tail, and some around her mouth, but a lot of splatter everywhere. Mary held back from gagging as she watched ZX12 approach. "We're going now," she said, taking off her lab coat and covering ZX12. How they hell they were going to get out of here with her, she didn't know, but they had to try.

"Good thing I brought spare clothes," Mary said. ZX12 was bigger than Jenny, in fact she was the same height as Mary. Her bust and hips were bigger but she wasn't as frumpy in other places, so hopefully she could fit in her clothes. "Alright, honey, you wanna wash yourself?" she asked ZX12. "We'll be right out here. If you want help, just ask. Okay?" ZX12 was very docile and calm now, and she'd been holding onto Jenny the whole time. She nodded in consent and walked over to the bathroom, letting the bloodied coat drop to the floor.

Mary was about to hush Jenny, they shouldn't rush the girl too much and let her come to her own choices, but ZX12 nodded and pulled Jenny in by the hand to the bathroom. It was good that she did, too - she'd never used a shower before. "A-alright. I'm gonna go grab some food from the car then," said Mary. "Won't be long."

The girl nodded but was fixated on the water now. To think that water could be so warm and flow so gently. She had only ever known cold, harsh jets, or icy baths. She played about with the water on her hands before getting into the shower and just letting it run over her in a calm, still stupor. This felt so lovely. Even when all the blood was gone, she stayed under the water just to enjoy the feeling. Mary was back by then, and knocked on the door. "You two okay in there?"

"He did say she was made aquatic," said Mary, observing them and avoiding saying Victor's name. That may have been a trigger for the girl. It didn't look like the girl was pruning like Mary or Jenny would if they were in water for too long, either. ZX12 looked up at Mary as she watched them - she didn't smile but she looked content. "Do you wanna come out and dry off so we can eat?" Mary asked. ZX12 got to her feet and turned the shower off obediently.
