Beyond Space & Time

"Y-yeah," Atlas said, wiggling her nose and wincing. It was definitely broken. "You too." She she wiped some of Polarus' blood off of Faava's face, as people all around them began to emerge from the buildings.

‘Heh I could kiss you right now if we both werent covered in blood.” Faava said as she felt back down to the ground, exhausted. A few people came over to them and saw the sliced up remains of the warlord and the two heroes who had saved them.

"To hell with that," said Atlas, letting the feelings that had been building these last few days overflow as she crouched down on the ground and pashed Faava heavily with her hands in her black mane. A crowd formed and started to cheer for their heroes as they stood up and looked around at a world opening its eyes to a new and better day.

Oh well alright then. Faava gratefully accepted as they kissed and the everyone came over and cheered for them. The first thing they wanted to do for their heroes was let them rest and have a bath. Once they did that then they would throw a huge party. Some of Faavas people took care of Polarus’s remains, making sure to destroy them for good, as they took the both of them to Polarus’ suite to enjoy his luxurious bath. It would be last bath taken there, since in the coming days all things related to Polarus would be destroyed.

Atlas was tired, but also too wired to rest. She bathed with Faava, and then joined a huge party outside of Polarus' palace. Everyone was rejoicing, women were crying, fireworks filled the air with light and everywhere was rich with the aroma of food. This high of joy was intoxicating. Atlas soaked it all in and rejoiced right along with them. That night, she and Faava shared more joy together and weren't finished until the next day was already dawning. Atlas still didn't sleep. She watched over Faava, now her lover. She had done it again - fall for someone she couldn't have. This was going to be hard, like it always was, but before Atlas parted ways with her she wanted to watch Faava sleep in peace and content.

Faava had had the time of her life last night, especially the parts with just her and Atlas. She hadnt slept like she slept that night in a long time. She soon woke up and stretched as she saw atlas looking at her. “Hehe why you lookin at me like that? Wanna go another round or somethin?” Faava said teasingly to Atlas.

Atlas snorted but then winced - her nose was still broken after all. "I don't think you could handle it," she teased right back, leaning down and kissing Faava again. Her hand wandered down a little way but then stopped. "But... I don't think I could either. You know I have to go." She smiled sadly. Faava knew that Atlas was an immortal, and staying in one place, watching people she cared about dying, she'd done that twice already in her lifetime and it hurt her to her core.

“Yeah...I knew you would. That whole immortality thing right? Plus Im sure Wolf is worried about you yeah?” Faava said. “Just do me a favor. If youre ever around here again, and I’ve you know....kicked the bucket or whatever just let my kiddos know they had an awesome granny.” Faava said, not being able to resist one last joke. “Im gonna miss you purple head.” Faava said with a smile.

Atlas sighed. "Yeah, I will. And I'm not going just yet," she said. "We still need to get breakfast. Besides... I do still need a keepsake," she added. She fiddled with her bracelet, and out from under it she pulled another thinner bracelet, with different colour beads on it, about five or six. There was still a lot of space on it. "The people who made me this bracelet knew I'd make friends along the way," she explained. "It's not just my family that makes me. It's the people I meet along the way too. Friends, lovers... I don't want to forget about you, Faava. Can I... Keep you here?" Her eyes were starting to water.

faava got up, baring it all, and gave Atlas a hug. “Haha of course you can silly. So long as you let me pick the color.” She said with a genuine happy smile on her face. To think she was a big part of an immortal persons life. That seemed like a big honor.

Atlas hugged Faava and whimpered slightly. "Y-yeah, of course." One of the small interconnecting gold beads on her main bracelet had a nifty feature whereby it was bigger on the inside, so within it she had the rest of the beads stored. She pored out a few, and there was a whole rainbow of colours and finishes there. The Radcliffes had prepared her well for this.

“Hot damn. That’s pretty cool.” Faava said as she checked out all the beads. “Ooh how bout this one? This ones pretty cool.” Faava said as she picked out a red bead with streaks of white going all around it.

"Perfect," replied Atlas, looping it onto the bracelet and then squeezing it. She'd already recorded some of Faava's (non-lewd) moments, but she didn't need to know that. Atlas tidied everything away and then looked at Faava again. All of her... She would regret it if she didn't. Atlas leaned over to kiss Faava again, and it led to the inevitable.

Faava was happy with one last bang before Atlas left her for good. She certainly drew it out as long as she could but eventually it was time for Altas to go. Faava got dresssed and they went up to the roof of the estate. She’d rather a goodbye just with them rather than everyone coming out.

After their final romantic coupling, they washed and dressed and ate a little breakfast. Atlas was feeling bone tired but she kept going anyway. She gave Faava one last hug and then stood back, ready to fly up into the cosmos.

As she was about to fly off into the air, the sky suddenly got dark and from it came a solitary figure. It was wolfie. “Uh oh.” Faava said.

The blood and colour drained from Atlas' face. "G-go inside," she advised Faava, reaching out to pat her arm. "And... Live well. You wonderful person." She didn't want Faava to see this, and for this to be the last thing she remembered of Atlas.

Faava was concerned but she knew there wasnt much she could do. “Yeah. You too.” Faava said to her. Wolfie just waited up in the sky. He looked very displeased.

Atlas smiled one last time at Faava, and then it was time to leave this world probably forever. Taking a deep breath, Atlas flew up to Wolfie because seemingly he didn't want to come down to her level. She was slow because she was tired, and her nose really hurt still, but eventually she was up to his level. She couldn't meet his eyes and just looked sheepish in front of him.

He didnt say anything at all at first but then he finally spoke up. “Did you say your goodbyes?” He said in a quiet rage type tone.

Atlas bit the insides of her cheeks and nodded slowly. Oh no... Wolfie had never sounded this angry before.

“We. Are. Leaving.” Was all he said as he began to fly into the sky, giving her the idea that she better follow him.

Atlas whimpered and followed after him with her tail between her legs. She didn't expect any sympathy and here she was not getting any. At least he had come to find her rather than abandon her for her insolence. She deserved this entirely.

After they flew away from the planet, wolfie still hadnt said a word to her. He just flew through the cosmos in complete silence. After a while they stopped in orbit of the planet that was on the very cusp of the andromeda galaxy, right before the Milky Way. Wolfie turned to Atlas and got real close. “Hold. Still.” He said, still sounding somewhat angry as he held his hand up to her nose and began to heal it. “Anywhere else?” He asked her.

Atlas was quite out of breath after having to keep up with Wolfie when she was so exhausted, but the flush on her cheeks when he rounded on her wasn't just because she was straining. She looked at him for a second but was so embarrassed, and so scared of how angry he looked, so she had to avert her gaze again. "N-no," she muttered, then winced as he roughly healed her nose. "Thanks..."
