Heroes of Silvatica City

Squishy was correct. While Aaliyah smashed at the tendil, another tendril came from Squishy's side and wrapped around it. Ica saw, because she was also looking around and quickly spit up that energy blast she used on it, dissolving it before it could do anything to Squishy. "It looks like it can let those tendrils break off and attack independently." Ica said as the tendril on Elli was broken by Aaliyah. "So it can virtually attack from all sides. We need to find its main body." Elli said as she got up after thanking everyone for saving her. They could then hear moans as zombies appeared from the darkness.

"its gettin kinda late huh? Plus I dont think any of us have gotten much sleep since you went under. Maybe we should go get some rest?" Indie said. She was also very exhausted so sleep sounded great.

They agreed to leave the zombies to Caoimhe as they all looked around for the leader. Daniel decided to light up the room and shot flames from his hands high up into the air, which made the room light up nicely. When he did that, they could see it up in the corner, dropping down more tendrils to attack them. "Daniel keep that up so it cant hide! Everyone else, take out the tendrils and make your way to the host body!" Elli said. Haley flew straight at the thing and attempted to slam into it so it would fall but when she did, it zipped out her way, knowing that would hurt it. It did stop its movements for a moment though.

"You can...sleep here." Zeke said to Tenpo. He honestly didnt want her to go either, and if she was ok with it she could totally sleep beside him. His head was hurting and he could use a bit of rest he felt.

Aaliyah, Ica, Elli and Squishy were handling the tentacles and Caoimhe seemed to be handling the zombies fine. So Daniel and Haley took on the main monster. While Daniel tried to light it up with fire, he was leading it towards Haley. Haley was scared but she gathered her bravery and started to create slicing winds. She shot them at the creature and it cut off several of its tentacles and stopped its movements so Daniel could set it ablaze. Once it was in the cross hairs of their attacks, Daniel switched to ice and froze the damn thing before it could do anything else. Once it was frozen the tentacles stopped as did the zombies, who just...stood still. "I think that did it." Kat said.

"Come on Zeke, don't be unreasonable. We can see you again in the morning. tenpo how about we see if they can get you a room nearby? Just in case Zeke needs something?" Indie said. She knew they wouldnt let her stay because she was just a civilian, but she was certain they'd make accommodations for Tenpo.

(its frozen XD) "How about we jestison this thing into the sun before it does something else?" Kat said. They all agreed as a few of them picked up the frozen alien and took it to an empty escape pod and sent it off into space. "Caoimhe is there anyone still alive on the base? With some luck maybe they can figure out how to make sure this doesnt happen again." Elli said. They also got rid of whatever zombies that were still throughout the base as well while they searched for survivors.

Indie looked at tenpo and smiled. This girl was way to sweet. "Ill watch over zeke until you wake up dont worry." Indie said with a smile. Zeke kind of just laid back and accepted this. Tenpo probably needed her rest too, she did look really tired. "Get some sleep. Ill be fine." Zeke told her.

"That thing...it got them all." Kat said sadly. It was really awful. A whole colony of people....gone. "Lets....lets get in contact with S.H.A.D.E. and see if they can get in contact with the families." Elli said. "In the meantime we should also head to the control room. Perhaps we can find the info we came here for." Daniel said. This was sad, but they did prevent this from escalating. Plus, they still had to find their friends. they made their way, and as Elli contacted S.H.A.D.E. Kat went to work finding out where Knight went. They found footage of her flying past the moon and found that the scientists were tracking her before the incident happened. Seems they found their next destination, a planet in a far off quadrant of the galaxy.

Zeke was really happy, even if it was just a mind kiss and watched as she left. After tenpo found a place to the rest, the next day came. When she finally did wake up and went back to Zeke, Indie was there, playing a card game with him. When they saw her, they both smiled and waved. "Morning sleepy head. You were out for a while." Indie said.

"It doesnt look like there's any info about Will. B-But again, once we find Knight Im sure she'll be able to find him." Elli said to Caoimhe. "Like Squishy said though, it is a very long way. It could take us decades to get there." Daniel said. "You would be right. However the reason we came here was to get something that would make our trip faster." Kat said. "Me and a few of the engineers here were working on a...well the short name of it is a warp drive. Once I outfit it into the ship, we will be able to zip through space swiftly." Kat said. "It's just like in the tv shows." Ica said, very impressed.

"Im feeling really weak. Doctor said I may have atrophied a bit. And no Im not hungry, Indie brought me food." Zeke told tenpo. Indie looked between the two of them and realized they were doing their private mental thing. She felt a strange pang in her heart as she got up. "Well, I dont want to be a third wheel so Im going to go. I have homework I need to do anyway. Ill see you guys later ok?" Indie said with a smile as she quickly headed off.

"Of course! that's the reason why we came. Once I outfit it into our ship we are all set." Kat said. "Then lets get it going. The sooner we can get it installed the sooner we can find our friends!" Elli said. They all agreed and helped Kat transport the drive to the ship. Once it was there it took Kat a couple of hours, with the help of everyone else, to install it into the ship. Once they were done they were set to go! Kat showed everyone how to pilot the ship as well, along with activating the hyper drive. Once that was done they shot off into space once more, leaving the poor now abandoned moon base behind.

Zeke explained to tenpo what a third wheel was as Indie left the base. She was happy zeke was out of his coma, but this heavy feeling in her heart wouldnt go away. It only seemed to get worse when she saw tenpo with him as well. "I must be going crazy." She said to herself as she headed home, unaware that someone was listening in to her thoughts....

Once everything was properly installed it was time to take off. Daniel decided to man the controls first, so he took them off into space. Kat activated the hyper drive and within minutes they were on the far side of the galaxy. "Oh wow that hyperdrive is amazing." Ica said excitedly as she looked out the window. "Right? It looks like our first test run was a success!" Kat said, beaming with pride. "This will certainly cut our travel time by a wide margin." Ica said.

Zeke sat up as she came and sat beside him. "Today. Ica told me that everyone left for space. I need to get strong again so we have someone protecting the city." Zeke said. He was surprised that everyone left him behind, but time was of the essence. Besides, he certainly couldnt leave tenpo here alone.

"they arent answering our summons. What do you think we should do?"
"We board. They left a very easily traceable trail. This is either a trap or their idiots. Either way, if they are a threat we will neutralize them." The people who were attempting to hail the ship, unanimously agreed as they began boarding. "Ugh, I hope that wont happen every time." Haley said as they all came from the bathrooms. "Perhaps the hyperdrive still needs a few tweeks." Kat admitted as they headed back to the comm room.

Zeke knew tenpo could fight, although he didnt know how, otherwise they wouldnt keep her on such a strong leash. He did know though that she didnt like to fight. She was so gentle and sweet, and he knew she didnt like violence so he would fight in her stead. "I will. have to take care of myself before I can take care of others right?" Zeke said, giving tenpo a smile. The next few days were challenging, but with tenpo by his side, Zeke was able to get through his physical therapy. The strange thing is that Indie had stopped coming by, and zeke couldnt contact or find her which was worrying.

"Hmph. No security systems? This ship seems somewhat primitive." "It has that new ship smell. Maybe we should take it. I like the design." "No steal ship. Our ship good." "......hmmm..." The undetected party continued to chat as a red light was blinking at the controls. Daniel wobbled over to the controls and noticed. "Hey kat...whats this flashing light mean?" Daniel asked. She went over and almost shouted. "That's the silent alarm! Something has boarded the ship." Kat said. "What?! When?!" Elli asked. Kat pulled up the logs of the time they were in the bathrooms. "It looks like a ship tried to contact us but we were all puking and missed it. Seems they decided to board us." Kat explained.

After a few days zeke seemed to be doing a lot better. Thanks to his psychic powers he was able to at least walk on his own now. "Im really worried about Indie. She has never not responded to texts for so long. Maybe we should go find her." Zeke suggested after realizing that Indie wasnt responding to either his nor Tenpos texts.

"I suppose we could take their fuel. Doubt they need all of it." "Lets find them first." One said as they continued through the ship, heading towards the comm room. "Well lets not wait to see if they are hostile. Let's intercept them." Daniel said readying himself. "Im still a little weak, but I wont let them hurt anyone." Haley said. "Lets go then." Elli said, also readying herself. This was their first encounter with an alien species on their trip, and she hoped it could be peaceful.

Zeke nodded as he prepared to leave with Tenpo. They always let tenpo leave the base when she was with Zeke, but since he was so weak, they prepared an escort. They went to all of Ica's favorite hangouts and even back to their dorm, but she wasn't there. One of their mutual friends said that they saw Indie downtown yesterday going to a somewhat shady side of town. She apparently looked really....strange.

The invaders nonchalantly walked the through the ship while everyone else was cautious as they headed towards the bay. Pretty soon they all met up with each other and They weren’t greeted by a colorful group of menacing looking aliens. “Humans huh? Interesting.” One of the aliens who was wearing a mask and looked like an assassin. “Who are you people? Why are you on our ship?” Elli asked bravely. “Not sure. Might take some of your stuff.” One with rainbow hair said with a devilish grin.


Zeke asked his friend and they said that Indie was wearing darkness colors which she didn’t wear often, and she looked kind of shady. That was even more worrying and they headed towards the spot zekes friend said they saw Indie. “What do you think happened?” Zeke asked tenpo.
